Any light shows up black in the shape of light source on evf and lcd

Hi

I recently purchased X-T2 used.

I noticed that when I pointed the camera toward the light (artificial and sunlight), black blobs in the shape of light source (floor lamp head for ex) flashes on both evf and lcd screen and it’s really distracting. I especially noticed that this condition gets worse with higher ISO and long shutter speed - even white surfaces that light is hitting at starts to flash. However, once I snap the photo, it doesn’t affect the image. It’s just really really distracting... Is this something I should be concerned about? Is there anything that could be done to fix this? Does anyone else have the same issue?

Please advise!

EDIT - I figured out it's called highlight warning blinkies! No more issue! Thanks.
