XPro3 1.1.0 firmware and iOS 14

Recommended Posts

Having just updated to iOS 14 and XPro3 firmware 1.1.0 I can’t seem to connect to the camera anymore. Bluetooth connects and I’m prompted to join the WiFi on the camera but then it just spins and spins. Is anyone else having trouble with this?

note: I’ve tried all the standard diagnostic techniques here. Restarting devices. Re-pairing. Nothing seems to resolve the issue.

Yes. I re-paired, etc.

After much fiddling it did begin to work again - we’ll see if it continues as nicely as it did before. I suspect updating firmware on both devices may have confused it in some way. I can’t say what one thing I did to make it work again though.

In any case - something to be aware of for those updating.

Gotta love computers 🙂 Thanks for the response.

All I can say is I had the screen open on the camera and when the camera was realizing it was supposed to connect I pressed a few random buttons. I don’t know if canceling and going back in did it or if I had to confirm something. The wording is kind of hard to understand on those screens on the camera itself. But after messing around with it like that for a few minutes I heard the familiar shutter sound meaning it was about to connect to the iOS device. So far it has been working fine just like before the update. I hope this helps.

Had the same issue. What worked for me after a lot of "fiddling" was to do RESET WIRELESS SETTING on the camera and deleting all bluetooth devices connected (for sure you iOS device you are trying to connect), changing the name of the Camera in the Genaeral Settings and same on the app of the iOS device: "Reset APP settings".

By then adding the camera again in the Remote app, doing the pairing procedure, and so on, it started to work again like it used to !

Hope this helps.

This is the equivalent of 43 minutes, 40 seconds of exposure. NGC 1502 is a neat little cluster located in the Camelopardalis Constellation. This region of space was thought to be fairly empty by early astronomers, but as you can see, there is a lot there. Kemble's Cascade (a.k.a. Kemble 1) is named for Father Lucian Kemble, a Canadian Franciscan friar who wrote about it to Walter Scott Houston, an author for the Sky And Telescope magazine. Houston named the asterism for Fr. Kemble and the name "stuck". NGC 1501 is the Oyster Nebula. A longer focal length telescope is needed to bring this one into good viewing range, but it is well worth the effort. • Looking for input; there are some decent deals and might want to take advantage to expand my lenses for my 100s already own: 110/2 32-64 35-70 100-200 + TC   Shooting mostly family shots, bringing my kit to capture family outings indoors and out. Tracking the 63/43 effective FLs on the two, but has anybody used both? Would the 55 (covered by two zooms right now) be redundant? Would the 80 be too similar in character to my 110 for portraiture?
    • See what I mean? Two instantaneous ads. Worthless.
    • What's the deal Fuji X Forum? I'm noticing there are seldom replies to any topics - except for advertisements posted as replies. Really lame. Anyone else noticing the only reply they receive to a question is an advert?  🤠 fotomatt in Colorado
