Highlight warning in Still mode

Can highlight warning (zebras) be set up in Still mode? I cannot find a setting for it. I can only find highlight warning in Movie mode. Thanks.

I agree. This is a serious omission. I think every other camera I have used has this capability. Hopefully Fujifilm will add this someday via a firmware update. I need to find a way to make this suggestion to Fuji. Thanks for your reply.

What's wrong with the histogram? It lets you preserve highlights without being distracted by flashing view. Might be just a matter of habit.

I think you are correct. The histogram would work just fine. Old habits can be tough to break 🤪

You can add highlight alert in the Set Up menu under Screen Setting => Customize the standard display.

It works for stills.

Sorry but the histogram is a data chart from a JPG this information as it is great for general practice. BUT! it is SO FAR from the reality of THE Actual RAW histogram it is worthless. Not to mention RAW PER CHANEL HISTOGRAM.

Zebras are the only way without have a RAW HISTOGRAM one can get accurate sensor reading especially when needed in high contrast or backlight situations.

It is excluded from the FUJI X cameras just like custom shooting menus ie; Bird Shooting where just by selection you can have the camera so to stored settings.
