Hi,

I had an assumption that mirror-less cameras can help view the correct exposure of the picture. But after buying Fuji XT3, I understand that the preview of exposure do not work during semi manual mode. Is there way I can get it work. I tried to look in internet, but I am still eager finding solution for this.

thank you in advance.

The AE modes will show exposure preview all the time.

The reason why there is a setting for exposure preview in manual mode is that when shooting flash or studio light you may select settings that give a correct exposure when the lights fire, but will be far too dark otherwise. This setting allows you to control that behaviour. This isn't an issue in the AE modes as they will not use the problematic settings which break exposure preview.

I also have this problem of no exposure preview in full or semi auto mode. It seems this is no problem at all. Simply a bad decision by Fuji to omit the possibility of exposure preview in full or semi auto mode. If anybody knows of a solution to the problem please reply.
