X-H1 And Flash Nikon SB800 ?

Has anyone tried to connect an X-H1 with a Nikon flash SB800? Is that electronically compatible?
Shure TTL is probably not ok but in Manuel mode, is it useful?

It should work without problems via the sync terminal. Only in manual, though. Just check the voltage on the hot shoe

Hi Ileo

My problem is the voltage, the impedance and things like that, that could damage my camera ...

You'll get manual and auto flash with the SB-800 but not TTL or CLS.

The electronics are low-voltage, so it's safe to use.

The SB-800 was the last of the great Nikon 'use on everything' flashes.

Did not work for me.  However, I was able to use my SB700's and 800's on my XE1.  No go on the XT series, or the XH1.  I just gave up and went to Good flash and triggers.
