Aperture switches to auto at 3.6 and wider 60mm 2.4 Macro

Hello,

I Just got a used Fujinon 60mm 2.4 Macro Lens in good cosmetic condition.
The aperture ring works as normal from 22 to 3.6 after which it switches to automatic, so I cannot use anything wider than 3.6.
I updated the firmware on both the camera (XT30) and the lens but no change.

Any ideas whats happening here?

I won't say it's common but it is a known fault on the XF60. I had to return a used one for the same reason.

Thanks for your response, So my best bet will be to try and return it to the seller. Hopefully he will take it back.
