Longest exposure w X100F

The T setting allows exposures to 30s. The Fuji app through camera WiFi also allows a maximum of 30s. What is the best way to get a 5’ exposure electronically? The remotes I’ve seen have a mini plug but the camera designated the mini plug socket for an external mic. I do not uwant to use a mechanical cable release. I recently had to send the camera in for repair as a result of damage cause by such a release. It seems the X100F has a shallower activation depth than most cable releases and Fuji repair warned me.
