  1. I've not used my X-t3 for a while, haven't changed any settings since I last used it & it was working fine. But now everything through the viewfinder & the images it takes are massively under-exposed & dark, in a weird, grey-ish kind of way. Please see image attached; it's hard to capture in a photo, but this was a well lit setting, with the camera on: Shutter 125, Aperture 5.6, ISO 400. The image is way too dark (nb it's not blue like in the photo, just really under-exposed). I'm thinking of doing a factory reset but can't find how to do this. Help!
  2. Hello all, I'm a relatively new owner of an XT-3 and I'm loving it so far! In addition to the general usage of family photos that this camera is going to get I'm also very interested in capturing scene linear data for my creative 3D endeavors. I've gone over Fuji's F-log datasheet and used an expression node in Nuke to create a conversion from the raw f-log values into scene linear. The issue I'm having is that I often find negative values in the resulting scene linear image. I've attached one of the LUTs I produced from this method and you'll notice that there are several places where negative values are produced. This seems unexpected. Has anyone else looked into conversion of F-log to scene linear? flog_to_acescg.cube
  3. I Just got a Fuji X-T3 from Amazon Warehouse deals, and the button feels off... I used a X-T1 and have a X-t2 and they both feel very different to the X-T3. I made a video to ask if this is how the X-T3 works or if I got a "faulty" unit.
  4. Hello Everyone, nice to meet you all. It's my first time posting in Fuji X Forum. Just wanted to say I moved from Sony full frame mirrorless system to Fuji X-T3 because I am mainly a video shooter, and XT-3 is an incredible system for me, and I am so happy with its codec and color (and lens), but it turns out that my XT-3 also shoots incredible still photos as well! And so I have been shooting stills, and since I'm a video shooter first and foremost, I made a timelapse video that I would like to share with the fine people here. Where would be an appropriate place to upload a link to the youtube video of the timelapse on these forums? The subject is landscape. Thanks, and I'm looking forward to checking out more awesome shots everyone has been taking with their Fujifilm cameras!
  5. This is a bit of a weird issue but in certain lighting situations, especially with grass or brush in the frame, there is a distinct pink/blue discoloration wherever I am focusing my image. When I am focusing my camera whether it is in the viewfinder or the LCD screen, you can see the discoloration while focusing and on the final image. Happens in AF-s or AF-Cmode. I have sent the camera to Fuji twice now and the first time they did nothing because they couldn't replicate the issue. I sent it back again and they replaced the sensor and I am still having issues with both of my lenses (23mm 1.2 and 56mm 1.2 - the discoloration is more obvious with the 56mm 1.2). I even rented an XT-3 body as a backup for a shoot and it did the exact same thing with that body. I shoot fully manual and white balance is typically set to a custom temperature, usually 6300K. Attached are photos showing what is happening. Curious if this has happened to anyone else or if anyone might know what the issue is if it's not the sensor. It's incredibly frustrating and proving unreliable.
  6. I have a focus problem with my XF 10-24mm lens. If I manually focus, using the hyper-focal distance, at 10mm and f11, the resulting image is only sharp in the centre. If I set the focus close to infinity, the whole image is sharp. In both cases the distance indicator shows front to back sharpness. I have to focus very carefully to get a sharp result. This is my second lens which is better than the first one I had but at 10mm I should be able to get a sharp result no matter what distance is selected. Has anyone the same problems?
  7. Hi I take a series of photos on my XT-4 or XT-3 using the BKT function. Editing in PhotoShop (stacking), unfortunately, often blurry areas appear in the resulting photo. Is it a PhotoShop problem, lack of Fuji plugs or a problem of BKT settings in XT-3 / XT-4 series cameras. I used KIT 18-55 lens or Macro 80mm lens? Below are the BKT function settings in my XT-4 and a sample stacking photo. Samples are here in my google clouds disk: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1hKmuaOZGjJxtKQn8Sspl96JRaHaAWqW1?usp=sharing
  8. Hello, I just recently moved over to the Fujifilm system (originally Canon) and I've noticed that the photos taken on the camera appear a lot darker when viewed and/or imported into a software on PC or mobile. This applies to both JPEG and RAF files. On the body's LCD screen when reviewing the photo after taking it, the composition of the photo looks perfectly good; right exposure, balance, ISO etc. I've looked around online and have adjusted the body's screen LCD brightness to minus 2 but it doesn't seem to help a great deal. I've also made sure that the DR is set to DR100. I'm shooting fully in manual mode so I don't touch the exposure dial either. Does anyone have any recommendations for me? Also not sure if I've provided enough information on this. Please do let me know. Thank you in advance! -Irene
  9. Hello all. i have found several threads on various forums and grops for this issue but mst of them are more than 12months old. I am having some trouble with my X-T3 and I am looking for some help or suggestions. As i have found online this is issue its called “camera locked up” Out of the blue the camera freezes. The LCD would still be showing a live view, but the entire HUD would disappear. The camera would not respond to any buttons being pressed. Even switching it off wouldn’t work. Additionally, the orange LED light is on and not going off or going into green. The only way to recover control was to literally pop the battery out and put it back in. I am shooting on single mode not CL or CH. Compressed RAW and Fine JPEG setup: X-T3 with 18-55 kit lens (less than two months old from my local fuji reseller) Original Fuji battery Latest firmware for both the body and the lens SanDisk 64GB Extreme 90MB/s (picture here. I had it from a 60D canon) I have reset to factory settings tried another lens as well. Reinstalled the latest firmware via SD Card. SD card format on camera. to be honest i have not identify any pattern for the issue. it happens randomly and in various lighting and temperature conditions Any suggestions or possible solutions will be appreciated. Thank you !
