  1. This picture was created with 6 photos at 20s, ISO4000, F/2.0 with the Fuji x-pro1 and Samyang 12mm. I used Photoshop for align the 6 photos. The converted it to smart objet and use the stack option called "median". By doing the mean or median, you are separating the signal to the noise. If the relation between boh is bigger enogh, you can see more details in the nebulae in the astrophoto.
  2. Hi, New to the forum and new to Fuji! I have recently purchased an XT10 which, after only a couple of outings i am really happy with. It was (and still is) a steep learning curve after shooting Nikon for the last 15 years, but in general really happy with the XT10. One question i do have and i just cannot get my head around is working with RAW files. I am currently running Photoshop CS4 and i have downloaded the Adobe DNG converter. When i go to open a RAF file, they are all greyed out and i just cannot open them. Has anyone else experienced this or does anyone know of a workaround? Many thanks in advance, Lee
  3. Here's a comparison test between two CFA with new Adobe method. Sorry, written in hungarian, but click to pictures bravely And a previous test: old Adobe X-Trans method vs new one.
  4. I took a series of RAW night shots using X-T2, when doing the post processing using Star StaX the end result had an odd pattern. I used Lightroom to do the initial process, saved as full-res jpegs, then ran them through the Star StaX app. The result looked great at first look then discovered this odd vortex looking pattern. It seems to be in the same location in all of the star trail photos that I processed. I've done some research but don't seem to find much information. The only thing that I have found was that it was caused by the lens correction done in Lightroom, however, in Lightroom with my X-T2 the lens correction says "built-in Lens profile applied" and there is no way to get rid of the lens profile. Is this the cause? Can anything be done to get around this problem?
  5. Hi I take a series of photos on my XT-4 or XT-3 using the BKT function. Editing in PhotoShop (stacking), unfortunately, often blurry areas appear in the resulting photo. Is it a PhotoShop problem, lack of Fuji plugs or a problem of BKT settings in XT-3 / XT-4 series cameras. I used KIT 18-55 lens or Macro 80mm lens? Below are the BKT function settings in my XT-4 and a sample stacking photo. Samples are here in my google clouds disk: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1hKmuaOZGjJxtKQn8Sspl96JRaHaAWqW1?usp=sharing
