  1. I use a Godox DP600III studio flash with the Godox XProF trigger. Everything goes smoothly on the X-T5, but when I want to shoot in Pixel Shift mode there is no way, the flash never fires. I have tried all the low sync speeds, the maximum is 1/25, and all the available intervals between shots. Nothing. However it does work if I put a Nissin i60 flash directly on the hot shoe. I have also tried to connect camera and flash directly with a traditional cable and it doesn't work either. It could be that the cable is in bad condition, to hold on to any hope... However it works perfectly with the High Resolution mode of the Olympus E-M5 mk3. I don't know if anyone has any ideas on how to get out of this predicament, I spent a lot of money on the camera mainly for this...
  2. i updated my fujifilm xt 30 two days ago and here is a few huge issues i encountered. not charging when using a usb c pd charger, which worked until this update not charging when using usb cable connected to computer not able to connect to computer via usb, it's not detected in computer or camera after this update battery life has basically halved after this update all these issues need to be fixed asap. and i updated this firmware using the phone app, so that's a difference this time. and if anyone else have any solution, please let me know so that i can try those too.. since right now camera is basically useless for me, until this is fixed.
  3. When I use the rear command dial of the x-pro2 to set the aperture with the XF 55-200 nothing happens... Does anybody have the same issue ? (The lens firmware is up to date and the rear command dial is ok to command the aperture with the XF 27mm pancake)
  4. Hi All, I've just updated my X-Pro1 firmware from 3.80 to 3.82 and now changes in DISP. CUSTOMS SETTING are only seen in LCD and not EVF or OVF ie lots of the options are no longer available. I've emailed Fuji but had no response so far. In fairness that may be because our local branch is located in a Covid lock down area. I'm hoping that Fuji will fix this issue. In the mean time does anyone know if it's possible to revert back to 3.80? It's not something I want to experiment with and risk making the situation worse. Cheers, David
  5. Just got a 2nd hand Xpro2 and I'm having the strangest issue. When I'm filming in full manual with a mechanical shutter the exposure doesn't change if I set it at 1/8000 SS down to 1/50 SS. If I switch to electronic then the exposure works correctly but I want to use the mechanical shutter to avoid rolling shutter. I also don't hear any noise when using the mechanical shutter. I read the manual and I'm still stumped. I reset the settings to default, changed the display brightness, and turned on an off preview Exp./wb in manual mode and it's still doing the same thing. I'm worried that the mechanical shutter curtain is stuck open and I was sold a lemon but I'm not getting the "turn the camera on and off" error. This is my first Fujifilm camera and when I tested it out, I didn't realize it was in electronic shutter mode because of the digital ES noise >.<
  6. I originally wasn't going to update from 3.0 to 3.1 but decided to anyway. Today I tried some longer exposure on a mini tripod, using self-timer. First thing I noticed was that the LCD screen zoomed in randomly without me touching any buttons or dials. I was merely moving tripod a small fraction to centre image. Odd. Then after maybe 6-8 shots I noticed that the self-timer had disengaged. Again, odd. Sure enough when I checked the menu, the timer was off. As you know, it's generally two clicks and a dial turn away to adjust that, unless you turn off the camera and in this case, the camera was not turned off (I was in middle of shooting). My long exposure was through the "T" setting, which I have on my rear command dial. It was around 2 seconds (nothing epic). I wasn't using manual focus, so thus the zoom behaviour is very unusual. Self timer was on 2 seconds (just to avoid shake). I have now reset the camera. Last 3 updates I've had to reset for varied reasons. Anyone else experiencing any unusual behaviour with 3.1? I'll update if problem persists. Assume all OK after reset if I don't comment further.
  7. Hello all, new member here . Last Saturday i went to do some astrophotos with my xt20 and my new 56 1.2. I would like to know if someone else have try to do some AP with this lens becouse i run in some issues with the focus. My idea was to use the intervalometer to take multiple shoots to stack the photos in post (typical for AP) so i tried to use manual focus but the focus by wire is not so trustworthy in this situations...it jumped a lot between small stars (close to focus) and big ones (far from it). In the end set to manual, back button focus and that seemed to work for bright stars...the problem was that after the first pic, all the others from the set were out of focus! even if the focus was set to manual it seemed to move it a bit, which for stars and 1.2 is terrible!! does anyone run to the same issue?? or know what would be the best strategy to do AP with this lens?? I have also the roki 85 1.4 and comparing pics (the ones in focus) im really happy with the results of the 56...but focusing the 85 it way easier!! If anyone can help me would be helpful!!! sorry about my english! Cheers from Argentina!
