  1. Hi fellow Fuji shooters! I have been covering FIBA Basketball U18 European Championship Division B in Tallinn for FIBA Europe and as on Tuesday I received my new Godox AD200 flashes and Godox X1T-F transmitter, I have been trying them out on court! I have to say that at first it took some time to get used to new system as I haven't used flashes too much with Fuji before, but when I got the grip of it, it works well. HSS doesn't lose too much power with AD200 strobes, which is surprising and that way it works great for sports! The only issue I have found is that about every 6-7 shot I take the flash syncs too early or too late so I miss the shot. I don't know if there is something with my shutter speed (1/1000 - 1/2000s) or the venues. I hope to get more experience with the new system in different setups in upcoming weeks and hope to keep you also up to date with my findings! At least after to days of using the system I'm more than satisfied! 2. Hi! Im new to this but I'm trying to figure out how to use the modeling light och if it is even possible at this stage. I'm currently using: Godox AD360 II (nikon version) with Godox X1-N trigger (in manual mode). I'm not having issues in general but It would be of great help to use the modeling light function to trigger a burst of flashes to see hos my lights fall on the subject. I have tried to map the "depth-of-field preview" as well as "modeling light" but nothing happens when I bush those buttons. Do I need a designated Fujifilm trigger for this function to work with the flashes? Cheers
  3. I'm trying to shoot with flash using a Godox 2.4GHz pair & strobe lights I've successfully used before; however, my only options in my flash menu settings are Manual & OFF. The button on the transmitter works with the receiver, but trying to use flash with the X-T4 has been unsuccessful. Are there any other settings that need to be enabled so it recognizes TTL/my hot shoe mount?
  4. Is anyone else having this problem? My XT2 works beautifully with my Godox flashes (two AD200s and one AD600) when my shutter speed is 500 or higher. But if I drop the shutter speed below 500, the flashes stop firing. I'm using the Godox XPro-F transmitter. So what I'm really wanting is "Low Speed Sync" so I can use my Godox flashes at speeds like 1/60, 1/125, 1/250, etc. Why I do not suspect the transmitter or flashes I can press the test button on the transmitter and the flashes fire I can put the same transmitter on my X100s and shoot at any shutter speed and the flashes fire successfully This makes the XT2 my prime suspect. Under the flash function setting menu, I do have Sync Mode set to AUTO FP(HSS) but I've tried the other settings with no success either (and didn't expect those to help anyway). I am in single shot mode and not using bracketing or multi-exposure features. And it doesn't matter if I manually turn off HSS via the menus on the flash units. Do you have any suggestions I can try next? Can you see if you are able to shoot and sync at 1/60 using your XT2 and Godox transmitter and flashes? Any help or suggestions will be thoroughly appreciated!
  5. Hello ... bought the Godex V1 and use it on an X-T3 ... seems nice enough BUT ... it just sometimes doesn't work or rather it makes my Fuji seemingly go to electronic shutter and results are very overexposed. Solution is to turn either camera off and on again or the flash off and on again. Trawled the net but can't see to see anything. Sent in a request to Godox but they're obviously never going to get back to me. Anybody had similar issues or am I missing something very obvious? Camera and Flash have latest firmware. Andy
  6. Hi all. Your assistance / advice will be greatly appreciated. I use an XT3, and acquired the Godox 350 and Godox X1T remote trigger. For some reason, the remote trigger will not fire the flash off-camera. The following may be relevant: When I have both the remote trigger and the flash off the camera, the test button on the remote trigger does fire the flash. When the flash is on the camera, I works perfectly in all modes. When the remote trigger is on the camera, it fires the flash when I press the test button on the remote trigger When I press the shutter it does NOT fire the flash. When the remote trigger is on the camera, the only flash setting available are Off and Manual. From the above, it would seem to me tat both the flash and the remote trigger in fact work, but that either: The remote trigger is not compatible with the XT3; OR There is some setting on the XT3 that I need to adjust. Any thoughts or experience with this equipment? Regards and take care.
  7. I have a Godox XProF transmitter but no Godox lights yet. When I connect my XProF to my X-T2 (both on latest software releases) the X-T2 recognises a "flashgun" has been connected but the flash menu refuses to switch into Manual. I can select M using the rear dial but it immediately switches itself back into TTL. Is this correct? Will it only work in TTL mode as I would like to have full manual control of my lights? Do you think I am doing something wrong? BTW this happens when there is no receiver active and also when I have a Godox X1RC receiver switched on, which disappointingly will only change the zoom function on my Pixel 800C (Canon compatible) flashgun, not the power levels or mode. Also the Pixel is not actually working in TTL despite the camera saying so, I have to set the power levels manually in the Pixel. Any help will be greatly appreciated, thank you .
  8. I have an XT2 with Godox X1TF and TT350F. I'm unable to get flash to sync faster than 1/250. I'm shooting with Auto FP, TTL and unable to change the camera to Manual flash. Pretty sure I'm missing something stupid here. Edit / with photos: I'm starting to think maybe I'm describing my problem incorrectly. First of all, I've already stated that FP and TTL are enabled. I've also been testing with the TT350F attached to the camera and I'm getting the same results. The real issue is that the exposure difference between 250 and 500 is quite dramatic. Like, one is too bright and one is too dark. This is more noticeable with smaller apertures with the subject further away. If I stop down to 2.8 and shoot a subject at 1M, the exposure between 250 and 500 is closer. Although, at 250, I'm definitely still seeing the effect of the flash (bright spot) where as at 500 I think I'm just getting a better exposure just because I've stopped down and the SS is faster than the flash. The following snapshots are both f8, iso200. 1/250 https://www.dropbox.com/s/yu2u6k7rhzmx5gj/250.png?dl=0 1/500 https://www.dropbox.com/s/3pjvc8wztx7qcrm/500.png?dl=0
