  1. I had the pleasure of borrowing the following for 2 weeks: GFX100S GF 30mm F/3.5 R WR GF 35-70mm F/4.5-5.6 WR GF 80mm F/1.7 R WR GF 100-200mm F5.6 R LM OIS WR I shot some portraits, landscape and close ups, against my X-H2 with equivalent focal length optics. I am willing to share my conclusions and pictures, but only if I get some interest here, otherwise there is no point in spending hrs put it all together.
  2. I've got a sensor on a GFX100s that seems to have bad pixels / bright pixels that are not controlled by the pixel mapping in the firmware. Pixel mapping improves the images temporarily but even after mapping does not completely remove bad pixels. Although this problem became significantly stronger a couple of weeks after the one year warranty ended I can see them in low key shots at least sas early as six months after purchasing the camera. Other than I'm disappointed Fujifilm does not seem to consider this a defective sensor but an out of warranty situation with the cost on me. I find it alarming that the most expensive body I've bought lasted for such a short time - especially after the research I did when I switched to Fujifilm suggested they had strong builds and quality control. I would really appreciate comments on experiences with other GFX sensor problems becasue at this point I cannot justify spending that much money to fix something that has failed so quickly. This is night and day difference in my experience with previous cameras and their manufacturers. Thanks, John
  3. I'm using GFX 100S which I've recently acquired. Help!! After I've centered and set the focus area, when I go back to shooting, the focus area has migrated to the bottom or bottom left area of the screen. Sometimes this happens when I turn the camera off then on; sometimes, immediately. Moving the focus stick has no effect on this. To correct this I've got to go back into the menus, select focus area, then hit Back or push the focus stick in. But it doesn't remain in position. Why is this happening and how to I stop it? Thank you. Mitchell
  4. Hi Everyone, I'm completely new to Fujifilm. I've been a Canon and Leica user for years. Making this jump is like being fluent in Italian but landing in Spain - I can mostly get by. I have just bought a GFX100s and 32-64mm F4 - what a beast. I've attached my first shot - completely unedited.
  5. I was imagining if ,fujifilm itself or any third parties ,make a auto focusing speedbooster to use fujifilm gfx lenses on fujifilm x series camera's !! . i might sound stupid , but actually it has great benefits in many area's . people who own x series and gfx series ,don't have to buy different lenses . also the camera industry is slowly shifting to medium format from full frame , so we will start seeing speedbooster for gfx lenses to different fullframe mount's of other manufacturer cameras too . so what do you think about this ? ,let's us all share our opinion's here ! about this , so maybe this might lead to a speedbooster ,like we said ! ,from fujifilm or third parties !! ,since many are using gfx camera's these day's ,who also has a x series body with them . so share your opinion's about this here , have a nice day !
  6. I've had the GFX 100s for about 6 months now and it has randomly gone dark on me while shooting (happened three times). What I mean by "gone dark" is; the shoot is going well then all of a sudden when I press the shutter, it doesn't take a picture, the screen goes dark, and the LED light just remains orange. The first time it happened, it took about 5-8min before the camera "woke up". The other times, I've had to remove the battery. Has this happened to anyone before? Thank you
  7. Hi, I’m thinking about purchasing the GFX100s for architecture photography. Can anyone share their experience? What Tilt/shift lens can I can use? I don’t believe that Fuji offers a T/S, correct?Currently, I’m using a Canon 5DMK IV with the EF 24 T/S. Is there a way to use that lens on the GFX100s? Thank you, Mark
  8. I have a small query re video files from both these super cameras. I also like very much to use Blackmagicdesign's Da Vinci Resolve. Much to my surprise Resolve does not like MP4 or MOV files from either of my cameras. Anyone know how to resolve this issue, a workaround or other information so I can use my favourite video editor?
