  1. Hello everyone, I'm writing to you in the (probably vain) hope that some Fuji developer monitors this forum, as it is absolutely impossible to reach them otherwise. I would like to submit a request for a future firmware update. Specifically, the request is to have the simple ability to select more precise shutter times above 60 seconds. Currently, the camera (rightly) allows a very accurate selection of each shutter time that is a fraction of a second, up to 60 seconds. The intervals between one time and the next are adequate as doubling (or halving) the shutter time up to sixty seconds is sufficient for proper exposure management. However, above 60 seconds, things change because doubling the shutter time becomes coarse and imprecise. In fact, now you can only select 60 seconds, 2 minutes, 4 minutes, 8 minutes, and so on. To work effectively, it would be necessary to have increments of 30 seconds. It would be so important to have 1 minute, 1.30 minutes, 2 minutes, 2.30 minutes, and so on. The implementation in the firmware would be very simple and would allow exposure management without the use of external remotes and with the accurate display of exposure in Live View, which is EXCEPTIONAL on this camera even with very dense ND filters inserted. To further improve the experience, it would be fantastic to have a menu setting that allows selecting the shutter step above 60 seconds between: Doubling (as it is now: 60 seconds, 2 minutes, 4 minutes, 8 minutes, and so on) 30 seconds (1 minute, 1.30 minutes, 2 minutes, 2.30 minutes, and so on) 1 minute (1 minute, 2 minutes, 3 minutes, 4 minutes, 5 minutes, and so on) PS: If initially after purchasing the camera I had doubts that perhaps it wasn't the right choice, now I am absolutely convinced that it is the best camera I have ever had and that it is perfect for my photography. Thank you anyway Francesco
  2. Hello, I recently purchased a used GFX and have taken my first steps on the forum! I've been using the Hotsell H1 for a while, so the first thing I bought was the H-Mount adapter. I was surprised by the price, but I was also surprised by the big difference in results compared to Hasselblad's XH adapter! Fuji did a really good job of suppressing internal reflexes. But there is one thing that really bothers me. It's that damn button. That button works as sensitively as a touch without a “click”, and when I place my hand on the lens to support the heavy HC lens, it is exactly there. When I using Landscape, it is just on my thumb, and when I using Portrait, it is just on my palm. Because of this, the adapter settings window so many times blocks my view while shooting handheld... I don't find how I can change the assigned function of that button or disable it. I tried putting tape on it, but it didn't last long. Is there really no way to disable this damn button?? I feel like I want to disassemble it and tear it apart. I don't believe anyone need to access adapter settings so quickly... I don't understand why they created a button like this. Please let me know if there is a way Thanks
  3. Hi all, I downloaded the new version of Capture One 11.3, which supports tether shooting on GFX cameras, but I'm having some trouble getting things to work properly. When I connect up the GFX 50S to my MacBook Pro the software sees the camera and lets me trigger it remotely. But the RAW image that's transferred over only shows up as a VERY low res preview. The rest of the image is missing. The files have transferred, because I can see them on Finder and open them through Lightroom/Photoshop. Whatsmore, I can shoot Raw files to card and open them in Capture One 11.3 OK. Anyone else had any problems? Ian
  4. Anyone using this case, if so what are your thoughts on it?

  6. Is there any interest in a medium format point and shoot? With how popular the X100V is, I can't but help thinking there could be a very successful market for GFX in the point and shoot range. After hearing of a possible 40mp sensor, I feel like that would lead to diminishing returns on an APSC (what's the point?). But! Dialing down the megapixels for a GFX point and shoot almost seems too good to be true. Not to mention, the GFX50R has been discontinued; a MF point and shoot would almost perfectly fill that gap in the GFX range. Fuji really does ride their own wave, so I'd love to see something like this in the future.
  7. I was imagining if ,fujifilm itself or any third parties ,make a auto focusing speedbooster to use fujifilm gfx lenses on fujifilm x series camera's !! . i might sound stupid , but actually it has great benefits in many area's . people who own x series and gfx series ,don't have to buy different lenses . also the camera industry is slowly shifting to medium format from full frame , so we will start seeing speedbooster for gfx lenses to different fullframe mount's of other manufacturer cameras too . so what do you think about this ? ,let's us all share our opinion's here ! about this , so maybe this might lead to a speedbooster ,like we said ! ,from fujifilm or third parties !! ,since many are using gfx camera's these day's ,who also has a x series body with them . so share your opinion's about this here , have a nice day !
  8. So I m thinking on going for the Fuji GFX 50R, anyone has the experience on using the Sony A7R III and using the Fuji? tell me about your experience autofocus behaviour: eye autofocus, focus acquisition in dim light image quality: colours, sharpness. Thanks João
  9. I've had the GFX 100s for about 6 months now and it has randomly gone dark on me while shooting (happened three times). What I mean by "gone dark" is; the shoot is going well then all of a sudden when I press the shutter, it doesn't take a picture, the screen goes dark, and the LED light just remains orange. The first time it happened, it took about 5-8min before the camera "woke up". The other times, I've had to remove the battery. Has this happened to anyone before? Thank you
  10. Old question, maybe new answers? I refuse to use Adobe subscription s/w and was wondering what people recommend other than LR. I am currently using ON1 Photo Raw 2024 Max, but lately it had been running into problems, I am using an M1 Apple MacBook Pro 16” with 2 TB SSD and 32 GB ram. Some options could include: Capture 1 Silky Pix Raw Therapy ON1 DXO I wan to process both X-Trans sensors from X-H2/S and Bayer from GFX. Over to you guys…
