  1. I have recently bought X100F and use card reader only the first time. Now i tried the usb cable that was shipped with the camera. It charged the camera but it didn't connect. Because i have had this issues before with other things, i can give my solution. 1. It is rarely a driver issue, don't go there first! 2. Use a good thick cable with a RF-filter on. It wasn't on the cable i got but it is a cable with a visible outgrowth, usually on one side only. 3. Don't use a USB3. Use USB2.0 (the one without the blue inside) 4. Don't connect to monitor or a hub. Connect directly to MAC/PC/Laptop 5. Connect to camera first, then to PC and last turn on the camera. And reverse this order when the camera is going to be de-attached. I hope it helps!
  2. I have a X-PRO2. I want to shoot tethered. But when I connect it to my Mac via USB I get the message: PC SHOOT MODE IS INCORRECT - CHANGE PC SHOOT MODE TO USB AUTO AT THE SETUP-CONNECTION SETTING OF THE CAMERA But when I go to the SETUP menu, and then to the CONNECTION SETTING menu there is no USB setting. There is WIRELESS SETTINGS, PC AUTO SAVE SETTING, GEOTAGGING SET-UP and instax PRINTER CONNECTION SETTING but no USB. The firmware says BODY VERSION 3.00 Would a firmware upgrade solve this problem ? Image Capture on my MacBook sees the camera, so the USB cable is making a connectioin. Thanks, Angelo
  3. I've had some trouble getting the WiFi connection between X-T1 and my iPhone4 working. It would only work for a short time before the connection got lost. After googling for help and trying different settings I think I understand what went wrong and how to fix it. Glad to share my solution with you. Connection can get lost for 3 reasons, you have to eliminate all 3 to keep a stable WiFi-connection, even if you don't take a picture for some time. 1) X-T1 goes to sleep after a few minutes. Set: Menu/Setup2/power management/auto power off/off : X-T1 stays awake 2) iPhone4 goes to sleep. Set settings/general/automatic lock/never : iPhone stays awake 3) iPhone4 goes looking for a WiFi network that will give access to the internet to update your mail/whatsapp/facebook etcetera. Set settings/Wi-Fi/Ask to join networks/off and set settings/cellular/cellular data/off and set settings cellular/cellular data network/off : iPhone stays glued to the WiFi connection with your X-T1 And, one final advice: if you are in the picture yourself set the self timer of the X-T1 to 2 seconds. Otherwise everybody else in the picture will be smiling at the birdie and you will be staring at your iPhone, taking the picture. (shooting menu2/self timer/2 sec) See attached picture for an example of how stupid that looks! Good luck, hope your learning curve can be steeper than mine. Once you know how to do it it, it's not difficult. Hans, the Netherlands
  4. Fujifilm X Acquire app doesn't detect my X-T30 camera. I activated Auto USB but it doesn't work. I tried restarting.
