  1. Hey there, i got my x-t4 about a month ago and have been really enjoying it so far. I dove into some fuji film jpg recipes over the weekend and noticed that shooting in single frame mode really slowed the camera down when using recipes. What seems to be happening is that after taking the picture the camera screen goes black, says "storing" and shows a little loading icon, after about a second its ready to take the next shot. So it seems as if the camera cant process the data in the background. So there is a "blackout" after taking photo where i cant take another photo. 20200706_104910.mp4 When using CH or CL or the BKT mode, shooting speed is not noticably slowed down and the jpg processing seems to be done in the background, even between two BKT- Shots there is no delay / processing screen and the camera is snappy as i think its supposed to be. A friend owns an x-t2 and has no speed issues when using jpg processing + single frame shooting, so i think this might be down to firmware. Has anyone heard of this, can confirm this, knows whether its a bug or a feature, knows if fuji is working on it, or has even found a solution? Thank you. (the fuji recipe i use)
  2. Hey guys and girls, I have a problem with my X100T and I don't know if this is a bug or a false setting. when I look through my EVF or on my screen I can see the scene and it is right exposed. When I then press my release half way through to focus the image gets 1-2 stops darker. If I then press the release completely (take the picture) and then look at the 1/2 second preview it looks again right exposed. And it is right exposed. It's just under exposed when I set/look the focus point. And this happens not all the time. Most times it works great without any issues and then without changing any settings the issue appears. Does anyone know this behavior and can tell me what it is? Here is a example video off the issu. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/s4diretody41kor/AAAf5wiibg9-R70smhj9Sou_a?dl=0
  3. I know there are other threads about this error message that comes up periodically on other Fuji X cameras. I am experiencing it once again on my new X-T2. It happened on my X-T1. When I turned the camera to vertical orientation, I got an error message to turn off and turn on the camera. That's exactly what is happening with my X-T2. I saw all the traffic about this with other X series camera with various explanations. It only happens on both my X-T1 and X-T2 when the camera goes vertical with the right side (SD card hatch) up. It's a minor annoyance because I rarely shoot anything that won't be in the same place 3 seconds later. Anyone else having this issue? Stan
  4. Hello everyone, First post on this forum so let me introduce myself : Nicolas, fuji x100 user when this camera was released, sold it and regret it, fuji x100f user for a month. I would like to report an odd behavior which is supposed to be fixed in the latest firmware as per Fuji detailed report here https://www.fujifilm.com/support/digital_cameras/software/firmware/x/x100f/history.html 0/ my fuji X100F is running the latest firmware (2.11) 1/ In manual focus mode: 2/ Whether: I use the AEL/AFL button to acquire focus Or use the front ring to manually focus (the area in focus is highlighted with the focus peak option so I know precisely what is in focus) 3/ AND focusing at short distance (less than 50 cm) 4/ AND using any aperture smaller than f/2.0 (the smallest the aperture, the biggest lens moves: see point 5/ below) 5/ When I press the shutter button, the lens slightly moves (obvious move) before the picture is acquired, thus ruining what is in focus. I have repeated the same process in AF/S and everything works fine. Anyone experienced this behavior? Do you know if the fuji website has a link to submit incident request? Thanks for reading ! Nicolas

  6. Hi! I've bought an second hand xt-10 about a year and a half ago and never had any issues with it. but recently I've run into a wierd bug with the apature. So I use my camera fully manual (even manual focus, use the AF-L to focus quickly), and only have one autofocus/auto apature lens. an fuji 27mm f2.8 pancake lens. so recently when I've been using it and stop down the apature from anything but 2.8 I randomly get this bug when I halfpress the shutter. I get diffrent exposures on the same settings! the pictures below are both 1/160 f5.6 ISO 400 and yet the apature is diffrent. sometimes it gets darker, sometimes brighter, sometimes correct. but it usally stops down darker, and then darker, and darker, and only a restart of the camera will fix it. I don't know if its the body or the lens or a combination. Please would love some help! cheers!
  7. I've been using Fuji X-series cameras for a few years now, and have owned several of them. I would like to know how to report a camera firmware bug with Fuji, and also how to submit firmware feature requests so that it reaches the right people in the US or Japan. Does anyone know how I can do this? So far I've tried submitting via the official contact form here: https://www.fujifilmusa.com/support/ServiceSupportContactForm.do?catid=464128&prodcat=234644 However, that just resulted in a generic "please call this phone number" response. I called the number they recommended, and got passed to Fujifilm Corporate in Valhalla, NY, where my inquiry dead-ended since I don't know who to ask for in their phone system. Ideally, this would be sent via email anyway. I must say, for a company that prides itself on continuously improving its firmware, I find it a little surprising that Fuji doesn't seem to make it easy for users to report bugs and send feedback on their products. Does anyone know how to get in touch with Fuji? Furthermore, once we have this information, perhaps it would be a good idea for this community to post a pinned discussion on how to contact the company with bugs and feature suggestions?
