I bought this broken Super Ikonta camera in an antique store in Penang island, Malaysia. I refurbished the fungus-pitted lens by hand using chrome metal polish and, critically, finishing with a final dry-polishing done with carbon particles (ash from cotton or cigarette). It took about 4 hours of hand polishing for just one side of a damaged lens. In this case, only one element required refurbishing. Finally the lens shutter is 'jammed' open and the whole thing is adapted to X mount using a 100ml Brasso tin: The result is somewhat useful but I have to go very slowly and manually: The lens has a very nice character.
