Hi ! I went to one of the local ski center last Saturday with my X-T1 and XF50-140 + XF1.4TC combo to shoot some university level FIS sanction Slalom race (they are fast!). There was also a Free Style event on the slope right by the slalom course so I was able to get a few SIF ( Skiers In Flight) pics as well. Hi A few pics from a pro-cycling competition in Quebec City, it was a criterium, a 70 km race on a 2 km urban track for a total of 35 laps, these type of races are great since you get lots of opportunities for some good shots. It was the fifth stage of the Tour de Beauce, here is what Wikipedia says about the event: "Tour de Beauce is a men's elite professional road bicycle race multi-day event held each June in the Beauce region of Québec, Canada since 1986. Tour de Beauce is a Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI)-rated 2.2 continental circuit stage race on the UCI America Tour." Shot with a X-T1 + XF50-140 + XF1.4TC, most of the time @196mm f4 AFC with Zone tracking (3x3 grid, central points), drive on CH (8 fps) Raw, PP in LR 6.6 and the Nik Collection.... Hi ! Here's a few pics from a friendly Windsurfing competition that took place last Saturday at the local beach. The event, "La Classique de la Baie", is an annual meetup for the local Windsurfing community, it's a 1 hour race in which the riders will try to do as much loops as possible by circling between two buoys 3 km appart. At the beginning of the race I was maybe at around 30 m from the closest buoy, the starting one, but as the tide went up I had to retreat back to maybe 75m. The water in the St-Lawrence River is quite cold at this time of the year so I did not really want to get my feet wet, I should of brought my rubber boots..... or maybe I should just get the XF100-400mm Shot with a X-T2 + XF50-140mm + XF1.4TC AFc with zone AF (3x3 grid), CL (5 fps), Set 1 for the AFC custom setting. Raw, PP in LR6.7 The Flickr Album (32 pics) : https://flic.kr/s/aHskKb7SBL Thanks for looking

Hi From last weekend, taken at the Canada Cup Long Track Speed Skating competition in Québec City. Close to one hundred of the best skaters in Canada were in town for a three day event, the first races in a series of four this season. Shot with a X-T2 and the XF50-140mm with the XF1.4TC, AFC on zone (3x3 grid), on CH at 11 fps with the battery grip on boost. I shot this event twice before, twice in 2015 with my T1..... and I got to say it, I just love my T2 PP in LR 6.7 and the Nik suite for all sharpening and Noise Reduction. For those of you who would like to see more here is a link to the Flickr album: https://flic.kr/s/aHskHye7Vf Thanks Gilles [
