  1. Hello dear fellow Fuji-x community, I'm a happy X-pro2 user, that's no doubt. Unfortunately I would like to refer a problem I have with capture one. After about 2 months of shared mailed with the customer service of C1, it appears that the raw files lens distortions of the X-pro2 can't be corrected for now. I also have to state that in the meantime they released 2 updates (9.1.2 and 9.2). Until now they stated that the problem was more complicated than expected and requested my patience. Somebody has the same problem I have ? to be honest I doubt it's a difficult problem to solve, and I begin to be very upset with the C1 company (I can't recommend the customer service, if someone is interested I can post the mail exchange I had). Thank you for reading, Quentin
  2. Hi fellow Fuji users. Have any of you been to Thailand? I'm going late October and trying to decide on what camera and lenses to take. I have an X-pro2 and X100T, my lens choice is 18mm f2 23mm f2 27mm pancake f2.8 35mm f2 35mm f1.4 56mm f1.2 18-55 zoom WLC for X100 I also love using old nice glass takumar 55 f1.7 Ziess 135mm f3.5 Nikkor 105mm f2.5 Having never been to Thailand before I dont know the light and a bit concerned about too much light for wide apature's. Part of me says take the X100T with a polarising filter and be done with it. Less to worry about, get stolen/lost. The wildlife looks great though so a longer reach would be good Please help. Many thanks Jim
  3. Hi there, sorry I hope the title is clear enough: Somehow I am not able anymore to zoom into the images (far enough to proper check if the image is sharp) when looking at the pictures on the LCD of the X-Pro2. I must have changed something in the settings, but can not figure out what it is. Does anyone know what could be the reason? Thanks a lot!
  4. I got the x-pro1 a few years back as a kinda last minute purchase (used, mint, really cheap) before going on summer holiday, and I totally fell in love with the camera - actually stating to my girlfriend; this is the best camera I have ever owned! I love the image quality, the image character, the feel of the camera and its simplicity. Love it! So, the x-pro2 was announced and I immediately started to drool. Wow, same feel, better AF, face detection and what not. A sure winner! Well, now I have it (bought used, mint, cheap) and for all its bells and whistles I can't seem to fall in love with it the same way I did my old x-pro1 (which I still own). I see the extra sharpness and details provided by the increase in pixels, and the AF is great. The image quality as a whole is also great. Sharp, contrasty, punchy colors. And actually that is what I don't like about the camera. I kinda feel like it has lost that magic Fujifilm look, and now looks like what every other quality camera produces. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with the image quality, I just miss that Fujifilm character of old. I have owned an x-100s and t, still have an x-t1 and the two x-pro incarnations, and it wasn't until the x-pro2 that I started to look for that magic Fujifilm character. Am I the only one who feels like it just isn't there anymore?
  5. I often change view modes and it annoys me that I have to toggle between all those options when all I ever want to change between is two of them - EVF only and display. Would love if Fujifilm made it possible like custom screen setup to tick options on/off for views, so I can end up with e.g. my two favorite view modes only when I toggle between the options.
  6. I wish Fujifilm would make an EVF only version of the x-pro2 with OLED instead of TFT and with higher magnification. I know alot of people find the OVF awesome, but I didn't choose my x-pro2 because of it, I chose it because of the x-pro2's form factor. I know the x-e2 comes close, but it is still to far away when it comes to build quality, shutter quality/speed/sound, joystick and display resolution. To me an x-pro2 with an EVF as close to the x-t2's EVF as possible would be a dream camera to me.
