  1. My problem: My X-t30 no longer lets me record video. Nothing happens when I push the shutter button in video mode. Background: - My main use for this camera is for recording video projects at my workplace. - I noticed the issue after using the camera as a webcam with a elgato camlink 4k. I had optimised the in-camera settings for use as a webcam during the past months of Zooming everyday. My attempted fixes so far: - I reverted all my in-camera settings back to my usual, non-webcam settings. - I updated the firmware to the latest version. - Many google searches to see if anyone else has had and posted a fix to this issue.
  2. My xt-30 started freezing up, became completely unresponsive and couldn't even turn on. Looked online and a lot of users had pointed out issues. As soon as I could turn it on I followed all the identified troubleshooting steps - Update using a formatted SD Card instead of the app (Camera worked for a day after this and started freezing up again) - Disconnected from app - Turned off Bluetooth - Replaced SD Card As of now it turns on, but only up to the date change setting and just lights up a black screen. The black screen stays even after turning it off. Currently on the 2.1 update. Any insights on this? Very frustrated.
  3. Anyone have an issue with the command dial T not working after the firmware update? Please help. Thank you

  5. I bought myself the 18mm f/1.4 everyone seems to love so much for shooting videos together with my XT30II. I can see why people love this lens for photography, the picture quality is stunning. However, I'm experiencing AF hunting of the worst kind and I've already tried a couple of settings other people recommend to get rid of it. But none of it seems to work for me. What am I shooting: I'm recording myself while playing electric guitar the audio is coming from somewhere else My setup is as follows: Fuji XT30II with the 18mm f/1.4 HDMI out to Elgato USB capture card going into OBS Studio for recording Here's a summary of my general video settings: 1080p@24fps with 200mbps file format MOV/H.264 LPCM SS at 1/48 manual Aperture on 1.4 open manual ISO manual (depending on the exposure) face detection on with eye auto Here's some settings I played around with according to multiple other users' recommendations: AF mode: I've tried both multi and area, but it's bad in both cases, area seems to be a tiny notch better. AF-C custom > tracking sensitivity: I tried 0, 2 and 4 AF-C custom > AF speed: I tried -5, 0 and +5 Of course I understand that those three settings are connected and I've tried many different combinations. But no success. I'd be more than happy to get any hint on what else to try. Thanks in advance.
  6. Hi Everyone! I have a Fuji XT-30 and I am looking to tether my camera to my Mac to be able to utilize Lightroom. I have found this wonderful software called "FUJIFILM X Acquire" but I am unable to get it to work. I can backup my settings on my camera to my Mac but I cannot specify a "Destination Folder" it is greyed out. I also do not have the option on my XT-30 in my SET UP > CONNECTION SETTINGS > CONNECTION MODE to select any tethered options. I only have: USB CARD READER USB MOVIE SHOOTING AUTO USB MOVIE SHOOTING FIXED USB RAW CONV. /BACKUP RESTORE I was wondering if any of your have utilized this setup or if there is alternate software i should be using. Also, I was wondering if i should be connecting via Micro HDMI port or the USB C port on the XT-30? Any help will be greatly appreciated! Currently on: macOS Catalina 10.15.5 FujiFilm Firmware Version: 1.20
  7. Does the XT-30 support the Lens Modulation Optimizer (LMO)? Thanks!
  8. Fujifilm X Acquire app doesn't detect my X-T30 camera. I activated Auto USB but it doesn't work. I tried restarting.
