  1. Hello all Fuji lovers! I'm curious to know how usable an X-Pro1 would be if I attached a 12mm lens on it (the Samyang 12/2). From what I understand, the OVF was designed for lenses as wide as the 18mm. Is the EVF as slow (refresh rate wise) as the X-E1? I found an X-Pro1 at a great price and I'd give it a go. Given the fact the AF speed is rather slow (compared to my X-T10 and above), a super wide used at its hyperfocal distance would be the logical choice... Thank you! PS: I searched the forum but didn't find much info on this topic.
  2. Hi All, My name is Marcin, and I am new here, so please forgive me if I started the topic in a wrong place. The thing is both cameras are now equally priced (more or less) and I'm thinking about transitioning from my Nikon D7000 to X System at looong last. I like the X-Pro1 style with the OVF and it's bigger size (I have large hands) but the camera is getting long in the tooth, and X-E2 just got the 4.0 firmware update, but I'm slightly worried about EVF since I'm used to shoot with a DSLR… so which camera to choose? I shoot mostly corporate/business portraits with off camera flash both on location and in studio. I know I will eventually buy X-Pro2, but this has to wait for now. I also know I will be buying 56 mm f/1.2 lens and working mostly with it (and I know the OVF on X-Pro1 won't be very useful with this lens). So many questions… Also, I wear glasses (though I can imagine myself switching to contact lenses). Thanks in advance, Marcin.
  3. Just wondering if there is any way I could replace or at least remove the smudges on my LCD screen.

  5. How did I not buy this camera earlier? I love the organic output it produces, and paired with the Fuji 35mm f1.4 lens it produces incredible files – jpeg and processed raw files. For me output is the most more important factor in creating an image. The files from this camera and lens combination are sublime, easily edited (both raw and jpeg), and the camera is fun to use. The following images were all shot with the 35mm f1.4 lens which creates sharp images with great contrast. 6. Hi guys, Im not new to the system, but i've recently bought an used xpro1. After the first shots i noticed that the camera, now and then, becomes quite slow and doesnt response quickly at all, especially when i click down, menu or the q button. So i have to press these buttons several times, before something happens. That only happens, when an af-lens is mounted. Without a lens, the camera works smoothly and doesnt lag at all. The lens is a viltrox 23mm f1. 4. Both the body and the lens are updated to the newest firmware. Does anybody have similar problems or an idea, how to fix this problem? Tried to do a hardreset, using and formatting different sd cards and playing around with the settings. Cheers
  7. What does everyone think about the rumored 1.3 X crop factor of the X Pro 2? My 23mm (35mm) would be 30mm instead and my 56mm (85mm) would be 73mm instead.
  8. I miss my old X-Pro1. Heck I miss all my Fuji cameras. This was from one of the first times I really experimented with manually control and making a conscious effort to work with natural lighting while on a photo walk. 9. This is my photographic history as it relates to how I ended up using and loving the Fujifilm X-Series for all of my professional and personal work. http://www.bradleyhanson.com/blog/2015/5/26/my-25-years-with-the-fujifilm-x-series-cameras-and-lenses -Bradley
