  1. Hello everybody, I'm not a professional in the camera world so I'm sorry in advance if I ask a stupid question but I didn't find an answer to it online. So I tried to shoot video in F-log the first time in my short life and my plan was to apply Etarna Lut on footage in Premier Pro after. I wanted to get the best of two worlds, dynamic range from F-log and the beautiful colors of Eterna. I expected it to be as easy as using camera presets in Lightroom but I didn't find Fuji Luts in Premier Pro. There were Adobes Luts. I also downloaded a file with Luts for my camera (xs-10) from the Fuji web page but there were 4 Luts. One Eterna bleach by pass and 3 others were ugly as hell. Maybe I'm missing something. If somebody knows how to use Fuji Luts in Premier Pro please share your knowledge
  2. I'm sure it's some stupidly simple setting somewhere but when I shoot video on my new to me X-T2 it looks washed out or grey. I figured it was some setting and tried everything I could think of. Nothing worked. The last thing I tried was film simulation. But that option is unavailable. It is greyed out / I can not access that menu in any way while shooting video. So two questions that may or may not be related: How to access film simulation while shooting video and what would be causing the washed out video? Thanks. Edit, I don't know if it matters byt when shooting video under the Q menu only the white balance, sharpness, face detection and lcd brightness are accessible. A screen shot of the video taken with my X-T2 and a picture of what the scene actually looks like (taken with a cell camera).
  3. When shooting fine RAW with simulation set to b/w options the RAW file is in full colour. I want to be able to convert a RAW b/w image via Adobe Raw without converting from colour to greyscale first. Am I missing something here? Am I stuck with just the jpeg in say Acros? Regards, NeilC
  4. In case useful to others, I've mapped the EXIF info for the various film simulations offered by the Fuji X100F. You need to read 2 tags (FilmMode and Saturation) to get the full information. I've used exiftool, a command-line tool, to get this. I am on a Mac but exiftool is freely available on most platforms. (Now if someone could find out whether whether usage of the built-in ND filter is captured in EXIF...) # exiftool -m -s -f -FilmMode -Saturation *.JPG ======== Acros+G.JPG FilmMode : - Saturation : Unknown (0x503) ======== Acros+R.JPG FilmMode : - Saturation : Unknown (0x501) ======== Acros+Ye.JPG FilmMode : - Saturation : Unknown (0x502) ======== Acros.JPG FilmMode : - Saturation : Unknown (0x500) ======== ClassicChrome.JPG FilmMode : Unknown (0x600) Saturation : Normal ======== Monochrome+G.JPG FilmMode : - Saturation : B&W Green Filter ======== Monochrome+R.JPG FilmMode : - Saturation : B&W Red Filter ======== Monochrome+Ye.JPG FilmMode : - Saturation : B&W Yellow Filter ======== Monochrome.JPG FilmMode : - Saturation : None (B&W) ======== ProNegHi.JPG FilmMode : Pro Neg. 5. Just curious to know what highlight, shadow, sharpness, etc. settings people are using for Acros?
