  1. My camera (X-S20) keeps making a clicking constant noise from the focusing (the focus goes in and out consistently) - when the camera is turned OFF. I've tried several lenses (35mm f/1.4, 23mm f/2, 18mm f/2, 18-55mm zoom) and they all seem to have the constant focus noise issue/movement when the camera is OFF (just with varying degrees of loudness) which makes me think there's an issue with the camera body or connection. The camera and lens' firmware are all up-to-date (camera body firmware updated via Fuji app a month or so ago), removing the battery seems to make the issue stop (although this isn't the solution), and the constant clicking noise only happens when the camera is OFF (when the camera is ON there's no issue). Has anyone run into this issue? Anyone know which this happens? Ideas for a potential fix?
  2. Hi everyone. I'm a new proud owner of a Fuji Xt4 but I'm having some issues and I would like to get your help to understand if I'm paranoid or I have to replace my camera since I can still do it. Here my main issues : 1. Since the unboxing and even after upgrading both body and lens firmware I noticed that my camera start to gets warm after few minutes navigating in the menus or taking few photos. After 5 minutes the camera start to get warm on the bottom left side (opposite side of the battery) and on the LCD screen area. I also tried to stress the camera with 4k 60fps video and after 10 minutes the camera gets really warm. Fuji says that this is normal as the body is designed to dissipate in this way. However, some Xt4 users I asked seem don't have same issue in photo or menu scrolling mode saying it never happened to them in photo mode. I appreciate it can be subjective feeling but I really don't get if it is normal or not. 2. I was setting my camera last night when I started notice a fan like noise coming from the body. It is very clear if you put your hears over the body. I thought it was the Ibis and I disabled it but nothing changes. I also have the 35mm f2 on which is not stabilized. Both issues scare me because I would like to use this camera also for the video capability. Did you experience anything like that? Am I paranoid or it is worth to send the camera back for a replacement? I love the camera and the feeling it provides while shooting so I just want to be sure it is working properly. Thank you in advance Kind regards F
  3. I have just purchased an X100V but find it’s noisy when turning off and on. This is caused by the lens movement which doesn’t exist on the X100V or T. If you’re used to the silent operation if those cameras, it’s an annoyance. Are there other X100V owners who have the same issue?

  5. Hi everyone, I'm new to Fujifilm, and not a professional. I bought XA10 on January. There's noise on my camera's LCD while I'm trying to take photos, but when I already took a shot, the result is clear without noise. I mean the results are always clear, but then every time I go back to LCD screen for taking pictures, the noise comes out. Is Fujiflm LCD's normaly like that ? And I've noticed also that my LCD is moving slow, like slow respond while moving. FYI : I bought it January, February my camera fell down from my bag and I broke the LCD. I brought it back to Fujifilm for get it fixed and already fixed. But then the selfie mode didn't work, so i brought it back to Fujifilm Service Center for get it fixed. And it also already done, but the problem is like what I said above. I just want to know is Fujifilm XA10 LCD are normally like that (even before it fell from my bags but i didn't notice ), or there's something wrong with my LCD ?
  6. Could owners of the 35 f/2 please confirm whether this is normal or just a fault this guy had on a batch of lenses, please? I was going to buy this lens for fast, quiet AF and quieter smoother MF in video, so the above would obviously make it unusable for focus pulls for the latter use, it’s not so much the noise (although that’s not great on one of the new ‘silent’ lenses), but the very visible, horrid visual judder as focus is pulled...
  7. Hi, sorry if this is a repeat post. I'm new to the X-T10 and was wondering if it's usual to have a LOT of noise/grain in the EVF and LCD in lowlight/dark conditions? I was hoping to photograph the moon last night, but could barely see anything on the screen or in the EVF when trying to compose the shot due to all the noise. Is this normal for the X-T10? I realise it probably boosts the gain up in lowlight conditions, but it made it pretty impossible to focus or frame anything at all unless I half pressed the shutter release. It's a lovely camera, and this is gutting if this is the case and not a faulty model as I love night photography.
  8. I have recently received a replacement body. The camera appears to be working fine, I just cannot escape the feeling this body produces a bit more noise than the previous one... I have never done someling like this with the previous body, but I wanted to visualize the noise a bit. To do that, I made e picture with the lens cap mounted (not sure if it is 100% closed to light of course). Settings: f/16,exposure time 10s, ISO 25600, Lens modulation optimizer: off, Long exposure noise reduction: off, Raw development: +3EV, Noise reduction -4, Sharpness: -4, Highlight tone: -2, Shadow tone: -2, Color: +4, DR100, Velvia, sRGB The resulting jpeg shows a lot of noise (of course), especially toward the top left corner and bottom edge: I would like to know if other samples show a similar noise level and pattern/if this is 'normal'.
  9. Hi, I tried out a Fuji Xpro-2 and a meta-bones adapter and a few of my Nikon lens. I found the images to have a lot of noise compared to Fuji lens. This was the first time that I had used a Fuji camera, so there maybe operator error. I used a 16-35, and 28-300 Nikon lens on the camera. I loved the Fuji glass, but not the Nikon glass. Yet on my D810 the results are awesome. I want a smaller, lighter kit for hiking and travel, so I wanted to experience the Fuji glass and camera. I am waiting for the XT-2 which suits my style of shooting, nature/landscape and travel. Has anyone else experienced a lot of noise using lens from other camera manufacturers? Or did it do something wrong, I did use focus peaking for sharpness and to get the right focus. Thanks for the help. Wayne
