Hello everybody, Recently I have changed my 23mm f/2 for an 18mm f/2 Fujinon lens. After I toke a few images inside the house, I have discovered during editing (Capture One) the pixel size is different. I have seen dark (the cropped out area) lines on both side of the image I have took. First I thought I have applied my own presets by accident but after resetting the RAW file looked bigger than 6000x4000 pixels. This is the one I have seen within the EVF and also the original is 6000x4000 pixels, but this below is the one I took the cropping out from it and it became a 6187x4000 pixels image I have tested with other lenses, such as 14, 23, 35, 56 and 55-140 too but I cannot replicate the same thing with any other lenses. Do you have any ideas why my X-T2 does this with this specific lens? Thank you so much Greg

Hello, I use a fuji xh1 with the 18-55mm kit and want to buy the ronin sc. The AF of the fuji xh1 isn't good like this i was thinking of buying the ronin sc pro combo with the focus motor. BUT does the focus motor work with the xh1?? Because i saw that fujicameras can't use a lot of features of the ronin sc. So should i buy the standart ronin sc version and rely on AF or should i buy the pro combo with the focus motor? Thank you!

Hi all, I do a fair amount of wildlife photography using Canon gear. I needed a smaller lighter camera to take better photos than what I could get with my iPhone, and hence bought a Fuji X100s a while back. That was the turning point, and the X100s has become my go-to camera for everything other than wildlife that requires a lot of zoom and fast autofocus. Iv recently sold my X100s for a XT-10, and decided to go all in on Fuji for landscapes, travel, portraits and every day photography. Looking forward to partaking in the Fuji X forum. Cheers Marco

Hi guys. Can U tell how good in fact is this lens? Is it worth the money? If it not depends on focal lenght, the xf23 is really this better, with the price almost twice as high?

Hi there. I wonder if someone had a mechanical shutter failure in his or her X-T1 ? Mine is ok for now but im curious for how long it will be alive. Greetings

I always loved the output of X-trans 2 based camera's so I picked up a minty used XT1 but I'm noticing that the camera gets this internal temperature warning and automatically shots off. This happens within 1-2 minutes and I'm not in a hot environment, neither am I taking videos or a lot of images. Just in simple idle mode or browsing the menus or taking some photos - anything I do on the camera and within 2 minutes of usage I get this warning sign. Anyone else experienced this? My XT1 is running the latest firmware update (5.52) aesthetically in mint condition. Purchased from a mid age couple who bought this as a new hobby but claims didn't use it much. When I bought it and tested the camera it didn't happen. I've tried using different memory cards (all Sandisk brands ) two different batteries etc but no luck. I also own an XE2 which never had this problem. Please advise if you know what may be the problem or how to remedy this? Thank you!

Lit-Matthew_Seattle Public Library 4th Floor

Seattle Public Library's Fourth Floor offers a sensory overload! My good friend took me there without explaining what was to come. Serendipity would offer me this woman in a black burka coming down the stairs. This is what photojournalism is all about...opening up to the moment and seeing what serendipity has in store. I traveled that trip with only my buddy's X100 and a couple of Holga film cameras. It was a great way to force my vision and be creative with one lens only! Highly recommend this to all my students, too.© image © 2014 matt lit linktr.ee/fotomatt all rights reserved.

i was glad to hear fujifilm launching x app. even though i rarely had issues with camera remote, since i always connected via Wi-Fi, rather than bluetooth. but x app giving more controls on camera was interesting to hear, especially helpful while shooting videos and portraits etc.. but when it's launched i found out that it's not supported on android 10 or below... which is unfortunate since i don't change my phone often, i use it minimum 5 years before changing, and my current phone is not at all outdated so i won't be changing it for another 2 years. i don't know if there is others who have phones which don't support new x app or not. but is there any scope for fujifilm's new xapp to support more phones ?. it would be great if fujifilm make the future versions of x app supported for more phone models. have a great day a everyone.

I got an XT5 a couple days ago and yesterday I noticed that every time that I grab the camera firmly there is a certian play and a squeaking sound coming from the SD card door. I noticed that when the SD card door its closed it seems that its not 100% flushed and if you push it inwards the door has a lot of play and makes that squeaking sound. My model is a black model and before getting this one I rented a silver one and I don't remember noticing anything like that. Has anybody have this issue? would this compromise the weather sealing?

Hi All,I recently published a Fuji-centric article on the best lenses for infrared photography. Most of the lenses I tested and reported on are XF mount. I did include some Sony FF and Micro 4/3 as well. I include several images too, of course. You can see the article on PetaPixel or my blogHope you find it useful!Happy shooting,Joel

Hoping to see Fujifilm support shooting in HEIF / HEIC image format or introduce a ability to export in HEIF / HEIC image format in "Fujifilm x raw studio software" . canon has implemented shooting in HEIF / HEIC format with 1dx mark 3 , so even though they did it first , i hope to see Fujifilm implement it as soon as possible ,because of the advantages of that image format over jpg . it's not difficult to implement actually ,since it's the still version of HEVC ,same way jpg is like a still version of H.264 . the major advantage of using HEIF / HEIC format is the images has more bit depth ,jpg only has 8 bit color meanwhile HEIF / HEIC format can support up to 16 bit color which is like having the color range of RAW file . the next big advantage is the size ,a 10mb HEIF / HEIC file has better quality ,color depth ,details etc... also less artifacts , than a 20MB jpg file ,both jpg and HEIF exported from the same raw file . also if this image format is implemented in-camera like canon 1dx mark 3 , that means you can shoot twice the amount of picture with the same buffer size compared to jpg ( x pro-3 79 frames jpg only, xt-30 79 frames jpg only , xs-10 81 frames jpg only ) if the HEIF format is used (x pro-3 158 frames heic only , xt-30 158 frames heic only , xs-10 162 frames heic only ) with current buffer size itself we can capture twice the number of images at the max burst speed of the camera .also HEIF / HEIC format is actually better optimized for burst shooting mode ,so you will more likely get the max burst speed of a camera in all real world situations. so i hope that i mentioned the basic reason why we need Fujifilm to implement HEIF / HEIC format in-camera or at least in "Fujifilm x raw studio" as early as possible . please share this topic ,support , and send feedback to FUJIFILM to implement this image format in the Fujifilm devices and software's . i really hope that everyone will support this matter ,which will benefit everyone who uses Fujifilm devices , to a great extent . also if anyone is concerned about the compatibility of HEIF / HEIC formats (there is a lot of articles in internet saying there is compatibility issues or can't open in windows etc.. But that's actually past issues) . the current situation is it's fully compatible in windows starting with windows 10 ,it's natively supported in mac os and ios 11 and above , also natively supported in android , also you can edit HEIF / HEIC files in adobe software's , luminar , capture one etc. so i am hoping everyone who use Fujifilm devices , to follow up this matter till it's implemented , have a great day ahead !
