I'm trying to shoot with flash using a Godox 2.4GHz pair & strobe lights I've successfully used before; however, my only options in my flash menu settings are Manual & OFF. The button on the transmitter works with the receiver, but trying to use flash with the X-T4 has been unsuccessful. Are there any other settings that need to be enabled so it recognizes TTL/my hot shoe mount?

The EF-X8 Flash with XT3 can be used as commander to trigger off camera flash. The manual and Flash selling official websites say that. The settings or procedure is nowhere explained. Can somebody please explain.

Hi all, I have an issue with triggering off camera flash since I updated the FW of my X-T3 to version 3.20. The flash is only being triggered about 8 out of 10 times, which is very distracting and annoying. I tried with two different flash brands (GODOX trigger + flash, Elinchrom trigger + flash) and see the same problem. I have used the same set-up for about 30 shootings (at ~1000 shots per shooting) last year and never had this issue. I could now observe it during the two shootings I had after I upgraded to 3.20. The issue doesn't immediately occur. During the first shooting, it happened after about 3 hours. During the second shooting, it happened after about 1 hour. I use the X-T3 with the vertical grip and 3 original NP-W126S batteries. I was suspecting a battery issue during the first shooting and therefore ensured that they were fully charged for the second shooting but it did not solve the issue. Does anyone have experienced a similar issue? Thanks and cheers Fred

GFX 50S. Hello, I'm trying to use my Metz 45CT plugged into the PC socket. I have the settings right but the flash is being triggered twice on every shot! Front Curtin mechanical shutter. Mode set to manual. Why is it triggering twice? Once on shutter release then one as it closes...? Got me totally beaten.

Hi all. Your assistance / advice will be greatly appreciated. I use an XT3, and acquired the Godox 350 and Godox X1T remote trigger. For some reason, the remote trigger will not fire the flash off-camera. The following may be relevant: When I have both the remote trigger and the flash off the camera, the test button on the remote trigger does fire the flash. When the flash is on the camera, I works perfectly in all modes. When the remote trigger is on the camera, it fires the flash when I press the test button on the remote trigger When I press the shutter it does NOT fire the flash. When the remote trigger is on the camera, the only flash setting available are Off and Manual. From the above, it would seem to me tat both the flash and the remote trigger in fact work, but that either: The remote trigger is not compatible with the XT3; OR There is some setting on the XT3 that I need to adjust. Any thoughts or experience with this equipment? Regards and take care.

Hi. I have a question regarding flash sync speed on an X-T1. I'm using a Canon speedlite. I know the sync speed is at 180 but I did some tests at 250 and I didn't see any issues. At 500 I started seeing a darker bottom half with a gradual fading to properly exposed. Has anyone else done this successfully or am I missing something? Consider me an intermediate photographer, comfortable shooting on manual with a manual flash but definitely still learning the nuances. Thanks for any help anyone can give here.

Hello, I have a Canon 430 EX II flash but I did not have the courage to put it on my X-E2 for testing :-) Does anyone know if it will work without a problem? I did use it with a wireless trigger and it worked. Can't really figure out the manual settings at this point (still learning this pretty hard craft) but it did fire. Thanks!

A flash subforum might be interesting. At the moment there are already a few topics to discuss such as optical slaves/triggers to use non-fuji flashes, using existing flashes, upcoming fuji flashes etc. Currently researching the best way to use my nikon sb-900s with the X-t1, hence my interest regards, Mike
