Hi there, a s a new user of the X-H1 I want to go and shoot some close ups of bugs and flowers without having to use Macro lens or extension tubes, is there a setting in the camera that will assist with this? Cheers

Hi, I am a long time admirer of the Fuji X system, but have yet to buy a digital camera. I typically rent a system when needed and make do with my existing film cameras. I now have a requirement for a good, weather resistant, digital system and projected rental costs are now more expensive than buying. I need to photograph items similar in detail and structure to coins, as close to 1.1 as possible and often in austere environments. I love the XT-2 from the limited exposure I have had to it and clearly the 80mm macro seems ideal. I am struggling to find a good ring flash which will be rugged and permit me to adjust intensity between each side. Does anyone have a suggestion please? Thanks, Jon

This Macro is of a slender waisted variety. I had fun stalking this wasp as she went traipsing about the hedge, building a nest inside the branches for maybe an hour. Lucked out with a few colorful, tack sharp images like this. Fujinon XF 60mm R Macro lens. The image is cropped in maybe 50% to magnify the wasp, and remove the excess foliage I captured in the frame.© LCHIII © 2015

Hi, I have a lot of experience with analogue/film but am pretty new to digital and just preordered an XT-10. I mostly like to shoot street and nature, often closeups, and like the closeness of 1:1 Macro. I need a light, small camera with most ease of learning curve/settings so the xt-10 seems a good choice. Yet, none of the lenses have1:1 macro and I'm wondering how well the 16 mm extension tube works with the kit 18-55 f.2.8 to 3.5 lens. From the charts, it gives somewhere between .5 and .75 magnification. If anyone has any experience with this on any (FX?) lens, I'd appreciate the feedback. Also, I'd wanted HDR and wonder how important this is? Lastly, I understand there is an accessory grip one can order. So what does it mean when people say there's an issue of no vertical grip? Thanks. I really appreciate this resource.
