  1. Hi, Does somebody know if Fuji has released lenses by surprise meaning that they where not on the roadmap before? I'm considering a wider angle lens, maybe the 14mm Fujinon or the Samyang/Tamron 12mm. The 14mm is already there for a couple of years but don't really have the angle of view that I'm looking for. The Samyang will be great but with limitations and is a bit of a "Spartan" in handling. The Fujinon 10-24 is no option because it will give to much trouble with the Lee Seven5 system. I'm really looking forward to a Fujinon 10 or 12 mm prime. So maybe I'll better stop dreaming and get the Samyang 12mm.
  2. Hello everybody! I would like to show you some of my first landscape photos with the X-T2 from my trip to Iceland some weeks ago. Before I changed to a mirrorless system camera I had a Canon EOS 6D before. I have to say going back to APS-C was a hard decision for me, I've never had any problems with the image quality of the 6D even Canon build not the best sensors at the moment, but as a travel camera and in some other situations I wasn't that happy anymore with it. I used parallel to it an X100T which I loved, but I needed a system with interchangable lenses. I had so much fun with the little Fuji and read so many positive reviews about the newer X-Trans III sensor that I decided to sell the Canon and all my lenses to buy an X-T2. With my, at the moment, four primes and the great body I had never so much fun before while photographing. Iceland was a great test for the system and I'm looking forward to the next holidays with it. But now enough words and time for some photos of the trip (most with my girlfriend on it) - hope you like it! 3. Hello fellow togs I'm new to this forum but not Fuji I've been with Fuji through both film and digital decades I have 5 Film bodies 8 Dslrs a HS-10 bridge and now numerous X bodies and XF lenses. I moved into the X system with a special offer on the Xpro 1 and a couple of XF prime lenses in late 2015. And earlier this year Fuji released a camera with what I had been asking about for a number of years that of course is the XH1 with the ibis system
  4. I hate the cap that comes with the 27mm, so I was wondering if a cap like on the x100 line that fits over the entire lens exists.
  5. Fujifilm just published a 3 part video where you can learn the history of Fujinon Lens from the past to present and how Fuji goes about designing lenses of various kinds. http://www.fujirumors.com/video-series-the-history-of-fujinon-the-heritage-of-xf-lenses-3-parts/
  6. Fujinon glass is the ultimate GAS trigger... a perpetual temptation for X-shooters (damn you Fuji!) I guess many of us will often have to face the situation, where we have to convince our partner (who is not into photography) that it just makes sense to invest a lot of money into the latest & greatest Fujinon glass. So I thought it could be useful (and fun) to share our strategy, arguments and tips about how to persuade our partner and avoid conflicts (ergo: divorce). One day, this could become a very useful thread for all of us
  7. I just bought the Fujinon 27mm f2.8 really cheap and took it for a spin this weekend. Wow! It is super sharp, contrasty and the colors are PUNCHY! My 35mm f1.4 is all pastel colored and dreamy looking compared to this little beast. Love both lenses, but I am truly positively surprised by that 27mm.
