  1. I am extremely grateful for your help and suggestions. Last night I tried two more times. On the first try, I substituted a second UHS-1 card, went through the steps - NO LUCK. On the second try, I substituted a brand-new UHS-II card (Sony TOUGH-G series SDXC UHS-II Card 128GB) AND IT WORKED!!!!! So, now, my X-T5 is fully updated to the latest firmware. Thanks so much!
  2. X-T5 Trying to update firmware. Getting "update not found, turn off camera" message. I have tried 6 times, doing everything that has been suggested. File name is correct. Deleted the file and re-downloaded it each time. Copied directly from Mac downloads file to newly formatted SD card. Tried with lens attached and with lens removed. Loaded the lens update file. Nothing helps. Will not work . . . . Any further suggestions?????? Did you unpack the Firmware file and put to the root of the SD card? I did not unpack the file. I copied it directly from the download file to the SD card. (I've owned almost every version of the "X" cameras since the release of the X-E1 and have never encountered this problem before. I bought this X-T5 new and this is my first firmware update on this camera.

  4. I have owned X-E1, X-E2, X-E3, X-T1, X-T10, X100S, X-100T - no longer own any of them. I bought an X-H1, but returned it because it just didn't "feel right" and maybe just didn't "look right" either. Now own X-100F, X-T2 and (a wonderful!) X-T3 and I couldn't be happier
  5. Too late Stephen . . . . I went out and bought one (an X-H1) today . . . I remember that you led me to buy my first Fuji (an X-E1) several years ago . . . and I bought the X-H1 even without your go-ahead, but based on your review. Thanks Julian
  6. Stephen - great review. Miss you on the audio site; but what a pleasure to read your in-depth, well thought out comments on Fuji here. Should I get one? Don't need the extra horsepower of the X-H1 (Currently have X-T2 & X-E3) - but at my age IBIS would be a real plus just for travel and general photography. Julian
  7. X-T1, X-T10, X100T and I previously had XE-1 and XE-2. I liked the XE-2 best of all and I'm sorry I sold it. Will probably buy its replacement when it comes out.
