Autriche got a reaction from kimcarsons in Fujifilm X-T20 Rumors
Well, it is with a not so heavy heart that I depart these Fuji shores. I'm moving "down" to MFT. I bought a Panasonic Gx850, with a collapsible kit lens, and have been stunned by the picture quality that this tiny gem produces in a camera that makes the X-T10 look enormous. Added the 45-150 zoom (90-300 equiv)and all of this together weighs less than my 55-200 XF and is much smaller.
Other than size and price, what really made me tire of Fuji was the hit and miss AF and the quirky controls/poor ergonomics. I have an easier time with the much smaller entry-level Panny MFT than I did with my X-T10. And it's tiny. Did I say tiny? TINY!!

Autriche got a reaction from PoulWerner in X-pro 2 unimpressive AF
With all due respect, I grew up using the metric system also, and I doubt very much that I could ever accurately tell whether a subject was 35cm or 40cm away from the front of my camera.
This is almost certainly an innocent user error.

Autriche got a reaction from Curiojo in Fuji hatred? Why?
All excellent posts! I love Fuji, but I'll be the first to admit that my Canon gear has flash capabilities that the X series cameras can only dream of. So, of course, If I need to be shooting flash all day, I'm not even going to pack my Fuji gear. If I don't need flash, and am going on a hike, then the small and lightweight Fuji comes out to play.
The camera is a tool. I don't use a hammer to open a bottle, or a bottle opener to pound nails into the wall. I use whatever is best suited to what the task at hand is. And since we all have so many different tasks, it's impossible to find the one and only tool for everyone. Anyone who claims otherwise is no expert, just someone speaking from the standpoint of their own convictions, and we should remember this when we read their posts.
