  1. You are right. Phew......I guess the good side of it is that the DR is going to be good.
  2. Congrats! Enjoy and don't forget to post pics please.
  3. Yup. Love the X-Pro1 and looking forward to the X-Pro2.

    Tower Bridge

That's a very interesting angle of the Tower Bridge.
  5. Well, for one, the X-T1 is definitely snappier. More responsive altogether compared to the X-Pro1. Picture wise, I can see a difference between the X-T1 and X-Pro1 when I compared them side by side. Both are equally good. For those who need one and only one camera, the X-T1 would be the way to go.
  6. Thanks for all your feedbacks. The ciecio7 adapters look very solidly built indeed and no moving parts! K&F Concept has been shortlisted. I was thinking of a speedbooster too. The extra light and correct focal length may be good?
  7. Slower on the X-Pro1 but faster than the XF56 APD. On the X-T1, it's as fast as the XF35 on the X-Pro1.
  8. Both takes excellent pictures! Of course the graphite silver is a luxury to have.
  9. What's pop music?
  10. I ended up not getting the X-T1, even though I loved it to bits. I'll probably bite the bullet on the X-Pro2. For fast AF type photography, I rely on other cameras to do the job.

  12. From the sound of it, Fujifilm lovers probably love the 35mm slr form factor........compact, light, quick and handsome looking. I know I do. Better yet, Fujifilm also caters for people who love the rangefinder style form factor. I'm guilty as charged. And I heard that Fujifilm is also looking at a 6 x 7 medium format style camera. I'm in trouble.....
  13. Can you share why you would say that?
  14. Yup, it's a bit of a dilemma.... My take would be a 24mpix sensor, better high ISO performance, quicker AF and maybe AF servo, 6fps and rumored to have a slightly larger sensor....1.3 crop. US$1.5k would be about right..... if you don't need another camera, maybe wait a little....but be warned, the X-Pro2 may well end up to be your main shooter.
  15. Not sure about the X100S but my X-Pro1 charger doesn't do that.
  16. No, they don't. Nice! Always love Zuiko lenses. Insanely sharp! In my case, I'd be using Canon FD lenses.
  17. Love the X-Pro1. Just bear in mind that it doesn't have AF Servo, predictive focus, face recognition, etc.
  18. Thanks. Very helpful. I guess, it'll all depends on whether the 3rd party lens is worth it for the extra one has to pay for a speedbooster.
  19. I have both the nFd and S.S.C 50mm F1.4. Between the two, I prefer the S.S.C. However, both lenses are soft wide open. I've been using it on my Canon bodies. Only after I saw your pic did I ask myself, "Why didn't I think of that"? Will look at Chinese options also..
  20. Any ideas which adapter is "better"? Fotodiox, Fotasy, Metabones, Novoflex? The last 2 selling for $99 and a whopping $169! Any feedback is appreciated.
