lleo got a reaction from Curiojo in What is this? Should I run like hell?
That seems to be only a metal cover. Remove it and check it. Probably it's everything else ok. There are some black paints for the metal parts of the lenses.

Upgrade the software, go out and shoot alot. You do very nice pics, just try and try yourself, beside any advice.

lleo got a reaction from Curiojo in X-E1, is it still worth it?
If your priorities are the camera capabilities, go for the X-E2. But they're complete different cameras in terms of photos.
Check the comparison on Fuji vs Fuji. It's not that one is better than the other, it's a matter of personal tastes.

lleo got a reaction from meloaku in Scotland with my X-T2
Scotland must be one of the most beautiful places, though. As well as Ireland and Wales.

lleo got a reaction from dv. in Fuji Fisheye
Nice pics, Japan is awesome. The Gundam... dream of my youth.
Though, yes the fisheye is particular. It's made to stand out from the crowd. So I can imagine if used intensively, can become boring in the long run.

lleo got a reaction from dv. in Fuji Fisheye
Sure, Warwick. It is a nice lens indeed. But I think a lens you'd get as... third? Or fourth? Not surely even as a second lens. And most important, for me, I'd never try to correct its rounded lines. It's a very personal thought, but why to get a lens like that if one wants to correct the distortion? It's like buying a convertible pretending to build a roof on it.

lleo got a reaction from Goran in Helios lenses for X series
Nice pics, Goran. I prefer the ones in b&w and my favourite is the one with the cigarette. Though in the last one... wow: awesome woman. Reminds me a little of Samantha Fox

lleo got a reaction from Curiojo in X-E2 or X-Pro1?
The Pro1 was superior to the X-E1, a upper line. Also to X-E2. And I also was thinking to get it, but in the end I've got the X-E2: new sensor, new processor, so better than old Pro1. I'll probably get the Pro2 in the future, but only in a year or two when the price will have sensibly lowered.
