  1. Hi Alex, The answer to your problem is to use the 'Q' menu. Set up your various shooting settings and save up to 7 on the 'Q' menu as custom settings. Start with reading page 239 in the manual but I'm sure that many others will offer advice. Roger
  2. I was under the impression that the Fuji film simulations were only applied to raw files IN camera to jpegs made IN camera. Roger
  3. Hi Pete, I don't think that it is a halo effect at all. I think that it is the out of focus edge of the next officer's neck, and you can see where the slightly darker area behind his ear has made the 'halo' wider. You probably wouldn't have seen it if a smaller aperture had been used. Roger
  4. Quick translation- I had the same experience and I sent the camera, together with files from the XT1 and XT2 to Fuji (SAV = after sales service) The sensor, and some other parts were changed and now all is going well for me. Roger
  5. Fine morning in Quimper, Brittany, so the SDFs are out on the street. SDF means 'sans domicile fixe' = Homeless. Fright Hair Better in B&W! With his dogs
  6. Thanks for that Burb. Now I feel really stupid! Rogleale
  7. Using firmware 4.10 and1.01 - in the shooting menu and with focus set to 'zone' - face detection 'on' - eye detection af is lit 'OFF' and I cannot change it to 'on'. Anybody know the reason? Rogleale
