  1. Usually 14 / 35 / 56 as a default or for travelling with the intention of taking scapes, or 18 / 35 / 56 for street work.
  2. Before I turned to a combination of Peak Design and Black Rapid straps, I used to use Domke's 'Gripper Strap with Swivel Quick Release' with my X-T1s. Never had a problem with the swivels scratching the camera, though you'll have to watch how you position the strap when you stuff the camera into your bag - as long as it's brought to the front of the body and not resting against the LCD, it'll be fine.
  3. Five-bar Swordtail (Pathysa antiphates itamputi) pupation and eclosion Mostly X-T1 with 35mm + Raynox DCR-250 (before I had a dedicated macro lens)
  4. The following is one of my street favourites, but it features the finger so I'm posting only the link here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/_husky_/16117159547 It's a famous barber shop but one ironically with very poor reviews, including impolite staff (as if you can't tell from the photo). Apparently the client laughed when she told him I just photographed them through the window, and at first I couldn't tell if she really meant that gesture or if she was fooling around with me. So I went round to the front of the shop, thinking to thank them and leave them my card (I had one other, better and less-controversial pic of them) as I quite often do when I'm 'discovered' by my subject/s while streeting, but was very rudely shooed away without so much as a chance to explain what I was doing.
  5. (Is this open to all to post? Apologies if not - still new here!) Kids are of my favourites subjects, but one of the most challenging because of the sensitivity. I may be vertically-challenged and due to my small size I tire easily from carrying too much gear, but being a petite female does have its advantages...

  7. Hi all! I've been lurking around from time to time, but with the turn of new year, I thought I'd try to be more sociable. I first picked up an X100 in 2012 as a trial for a lightweight street photography camera, and it somehow - against all expectations - led to me ditching my Nikon system entirely, only to have it replaced by Fuji X-T1s and a growing collection of Fuji lenses. Loving the colour, handling, noise control, and soul. Never been happier. I do mainly nature and street photography, and some reportage. Based in London most of the time, otherwise Singapore. Looking forward to learning from everyone here and geeking it out, Fuji style! Web: http://www.jaclau.com Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/_husky_ A few samples:
