  1. When you get time, post a few tripod mounted pictures using the same lens for comparison.
  2. No matter what shutter speed you use, if you are inducing camera shake, the image will be blurry. Up close you can see movement from left to right in some parts of the image. As others have suggested, take some photos on a tripod and compare the results.
  3. Motion blur seems to be cause by camera shake rather than subject movement. Also, what AF mode are you in and what AF point(s) did you select?
  4. I am a big fan of the TCL for portraits. The sharpness is unaffected and the focal length and compression are idea. My hands are big so the converter actually makes the camera easier to hold. I don't know what they are going for but I purchased mine on Amazon a few years back for $200.00 when it was on sale. Best purchase I made.
  5. I use the Yongnuo YN622c-tx flash controller with YN622c trigger/transceivers. These are the Canon version and work perfectly on Canon compatible flashes. With the YN622c-tx mounted on the x100s, I am able to control all my off camera flashes and have had no issues.
