In my Nikon period i always shot RAW or RAW&JPEG.
At home i processed the raw's, for a quick photo on the road i used the (small) jpg's for sending by phone to a newspaper or website.
In the beginning i did the same with my Fuji's, but i always used the jpg's.
So now i shoot jpg only, except in dificult light situations i also shoot raw for security.
The Fuji's create very good JPG's

How about...
- 10-24 or 16mm f1.4
- 35mm f1.4
- 56mm f1.2 or 90mm f2
...and an X100t
I agree.
- 10-24 or 16mm f1.4
- 35mm f1.4
- 56mm f1.2
But i have a fine kit and keep it that way

the 10-24 is the lens to go for me for a great many shots I have to say that using is a lot of fun!
Nice pic, i see that building every day. I live a few minutes from there

You are more flexible with the 10-24.
But personally i like to travel light (and small) so my choice would be the 14mm.
Have a nice trip!

What was actually holding the hot-shoe plate on the camera?
4 screws.

Hi there. I saw your post on Fujitumors and so I created an account today just so I could see the photo. What happened to you was exactly what happened to my X-Pro1. I banged it on the door, even though I was trying my best to avoid it. I ended up glueing it back on with Pliobond adhesive. The hot shoe no longer triggers a flash but I can put a radio trigger on the hotshot and then run a pic sync cord down to the of socket on the lower side of the camera.
So i am not the only one.

But man, that is some bad luck. Good though that you brought it up to warn others.
Hope you're not into flash photography.
No, i (almost) never use flash.
Soon it wil be repaired, i stil got the hotshoe and the screws.

Hi all, i live with my wife and 2 kids in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands.
In the past i did news photography and photography assignments for construction contractors and railroadwork.
The last 2 years i am taking photo's for hobby just because i like to do it, and sometimes a small assignment or selling photo's so i have some money for the hobby.
I used Nikon for 30 years but 2 years ago i sold all my Nikon gear and switched to Fuji, that was a difficult decision but now i am happy i did it.
No more heavy cams around my neck and shoulders
If you ever come to Amsterdam and you want some info about this beautiful city you can contact me.
Sorry for my terrible English

The 23mm 1.4 is atached on the X-pro 1 all the time, i shoot 60% off my pics with this combi.
35% i shoot with my XE-2 with 14mm 2.8 or 56mm 1.2.
That leaves 5% for the iPhone an my doughters X-10
