  1. Great sharp image! Which lens you used?
  2. What tha hell is this guy doing there!?! by Kwyjibo Van De Kamp, auf Flickr
  3. Bridge!?! To compete with FZ1000 and RX10. Or an APS-C version of the X30! Something like the LX100. Or a X-Trans action cam? Or a X-Trans video cam? I'm very curios!!!
  4. For using old M42 Fujinon lenses with tab with an adatpter on a modern digital camera it could be helpful to use some kind of distance ring/O-ring between lens and adapter so the lens isn't screwed completely to the adapter. If you do so you should know that you can have some issues to focus to infinity and to set slower apertures. Sorry for my bad online dictionary translated german-english
  5. O.K. Maurice, many interesting thoughts you shared. But Fuji has shown/will show that it's possible to make compact lenses. I love the 27mm and the 18mm (and they are not expensive compared to other Fuji lenses). The 35mm F2.0 seems to be compact too. I know that many people don't like the 27mm and the 18mm. But if there were two lines of lenses (one "big" fast and one compact less fast lens) people can choose by their own.
  6. No contradictions! I would call it no other choice! I know that the 16mm isn't compact (even bigger than the 23mm). But there is no smaller alternative. I like to shoot wide and in low light (concerts). If there was a more compact (e.g. only MF w/o WR) alternative I would pick it!!!
  7. Totally agree with you!!!! Plus the huge IQ! I would love to see an interchangeable version of X100's 23 mil. Referring to Voigtländer lenses Fuji maybe should think about some ultra compact only MF lenses for small money. I also want to purchase the 16mm F1.4. Seems to be a great lens.
  8. How do I delete a post?
  9. Right decision! Great and compact lens for a small price. I really love it! You will be very happy.
  10. I would prefer the 12mm. It's very wide, wide enough! As said before the 8 mil is more a "fun" lens.
  11. Thanks Maurice!!! Thought so. I know that it's just an adapter but maybe other users want to know.
  12. You're right Chris. Have the same problem with the expensive Novoflex adapter. But if you won't use the lens on old Fujicas it's no problem to filing off the tab. I'm a folk
  13. Maybe the Samyang 100mm f/2.8 Macro is something for you. http://www.syopt.com/en/camera/photo-lenses-100mm-F2.8-ED-UMC-MACRO.php Notice that this is a full frame lens so you are getting the best out of it.

  15. Great shots dv.! I have the Walimex Pro version of this great lens!!! I really love it! So here are some examples for you to decide if you also want to purchase this lens. Notice there are no distortion or vignetting corrections. I just did some colour editings. Hope you like it. 16. Thanks for posting this!!!!! I always was wondering if this combination will work together. But now I know! Thanks. Just have one question. You change aperture by using the ring on the metabones? So the smallest aperture will be f/7?
  17. Or you take the Fujinon lenses in M42. Here's a database http://m42lens.com/ (just choose Fuji as vendor). You can use any M42 to Fuji-X adapter. I'm happy with it. Here's an example with the 50mm f/1.4 M42 with the very expensive (but great) Novoflex adapter. Bright-eyed contentment by KwyjiboVanDeKamp, auf Flickr And here you can see many other of my M42 shots https://www.flickr.com/search/?user_id=93978937%40N07&tags=m42&view_all=1
