  1. I recently have issues with at least one 64GB Lexar pro card on my Mac shot on my XT3. I've reformatted it a couple of times and it doesn't fix it. When I insert this card in my iMac's SD slot, the photos don't always show up in LightRoom in the import window. If I go to the MacOS finder, I don't see them either. And the card won't eject via LR or the finder - I have to force eject it. The remedy seems to be to insert the card into the camera again, look at a few images on the XT3 screen, then put it into the computer again. Then the images usually show up. Not seen this with other cards of the same type, but have not used many recently.
  2. It's relevant. WR is not fool proof, but it minimizes the chances of water/sand damage. I shoot outdoors almost exclusively and often in rainy, steamy, moist, humid conditions (nature photography). I fried a Nikon D90 once when water got into the battery compartment. And I had a camera 'raincoat' on it. Since then, every body I've gotten is WR. And most of my lenses as well. I spend quite a bit of time in limestone forests here on Guam - these are basically jungles with lots of rocky substrate. It's hella humid there, and then you have the corrosive ocean air on your way to and from. Not had any repeat leakage since. And I don't usually shoot in rainstorms, but I get caught in them - the WR gives me peace of mind that a short time before I get the camera into the bag won't be a problem. And yes, condensation - when I come outside, my cameras usually get covered in a thin layer of it. None of my WR Nikons or Fujifilm bodies or lenses have ever had internal condensation (not noticed it at least).
  3. Although I agree Fuji can't be all things to all people, it's really hurting itself for those that do nature photography. I'm holding off on all other purchases of Fuji gear as a result. And it's very clear that if they didn't put so many resources into the GFX system, it would have been here long ago.
  4. I have it, and use it - even with the extension tube. Image quality is very good. But it is really slow, not weather proof at all, and frankly on the delicate side. -Curt
  5. I can't access or find that folder on my Mac using Go, even plugging in my user name.
  6. I have a third party metal grip (LB-XT!-L) for my X-T1 with Arca rails. It's pretty awesome. Hoping there will be something similar for the X-T2 when mine gets sent.
  7. Would be the perfect lens for an WR body that's already out there, hopefully. :-p
