It is fine, X-T10 was never made in Japan, there was a video already released by Fuji showing the factory making the X-T10.
Come on, X-T10 is really affordable, thanks to where the factory is building them.
Normally, not everything is made in the homeland, only the flagship series or the high end models received such attentions.
By the way, not everything is made in Japan, even the inners we don’t know, there might be parts that are just made in China etc… it is just that the final assembly is completed in Japan.
Like many said, it is the QC, some might think, Woo MIC not good in fact if extreme QC is applied should never be a problem.
I still have product MIC and it last longer than some of the MIJ product. There are a lot of secret involved in QC so deep and confusing.
The 18-55 that comes with X-T10 are MIC, while those that came with X-T1 are MIJ because of the flagship model.
