  1. @John Poremba. When I asked about sync speed I wasn't referring to high speed sync. The x-100 series has a leaf shutter and thus can sync at pretty much any speed (There are some physical limitations on the shutter above 1/1000, so it can't sync at every aperture at speeds above 1/1000, so 1/1000 is the plateau of efficiency for flash). The problem is, however, that there is often a delay in radio signals. For example, Pocket Wizards (except for the multimax version) top out at 1/500. So, in order to take advantage of the ambient light killing virtues of higher sync speeds, hardwiring is resorted too. The Cactus v6 permits syncing at 1/1000, but it's a manual only trigger - not TTL. So the issue isn't the Fuji protocol, but whether your unit can transmit the signal fast enough to permit the full 1/1000 sync. Thanks. Joe
  2. What is the maximum supported sync speed for these units? I'd like to be able to get 1/1000 at full power.
