  1. At f8 th corners will just barely be sharp enough for landscape, IMO. One thing I do with the lens is to apply straight sharpening at the edges and corners to help with the resolution falloff (I use the eclipse local adjustment tool in Lightroom). That does make them barely acceptable to me in 17x22 prints. I really wish Fuji would update the lens and improve th corners some.
  2. No mention of X-E3 in today's X-T3 rumor. Fuji had better drop some hints about an E successor, since if the T or Pro is my only 24 mp option, I will bite the bullet and head over to the Sony A7RIi.
  3. Removing focus point selection via the 4-way controller likely would be a deal killer for me
  4. I have the distance scale set to show in my X-E2 viewfinder. When I use the 27mm f2.8 the scale acts as I would expect. However, when I shoot with the 18mm, the lens is reporting distances that are much closer than the actual focus distance (e.g., if I focus on something at infinity, the scale shows a focus distance between 15 and 30 feet!). There's nothing wrong with the autofocus -- I've checked and it's fine, it's just that the scale is completely off. If I try to use the scale to set a focus distance, my focus target point is OOF. Not a huge deal, but with the 27mm I do use the scale from time to set up deep focus shots. Firmware on lens and camera is up to date. Has anyone run across this with this lens? Not sure if it's just my copy or what. Thanks
