  1. Hi all, I'm a Fujifilm fan from Seattle, WA. I've been shooting seriously since around 2005 when I got my first DSLRs and have since moved through system after system, settling with the X-Pro1 in 2012, since then I've gone through 3 X-Pro1 bodies (at various times I've picked one up as a backup), an X-T1, an X100 (black limited), and now on my 2nd X100s (after selling my first during a trade). I just keep coming back to the Fujifilm system, as they've ignited a passion I haven't had with photography before, and elevated my creativity and passion beyond vacation snaps, family events, and travel. Speaking of passion, Fuji X-series have turned me back on to film photography also, as I've always had a Contax G system for the last decade, and now moved to medium format in addition to 35mm. I can now say I'm a happy owner of 4 Fujifilm cameras, from their Natura S compact to their Xpan (Fujifilm TX-1) to their last hurrah, the Fujifilm GF670. I still shoot an X100s for digital. I am eagerly hopeful for a medium format equivalent of an X100.
  2. Yes, I'm seeing a lot of fashion photographers take advantage of the leaf shutter on the GA645 with great results. Makes for a perfect alternative to a bulky PhaseOne / Hasselblad setup. If Sigma can make their DP Quattro series work, then there's no reason Fuji can't outdo them and Pentax in this space.
  3. They should definitely take inspiration from their GL690 interchangeable lens rangefinders from the 70s. But since a whole new lens mount maybe prohibitive, they should do the X100 route - start with a 35-40mm equivalent fixed lens, and then add adapters or two different versions (28mm equivalent & 40mm equivalent, like their GF670). I LOVE the GF670 and also used their GA645zi before and it would make perfect sense to adapt one of those to the digital equivalent (45mm x 45mm format maybe?).
