  1. Yes, always turn OIS off on a tripod. Continuos autofocus will also cause problems.
  2. It is terribly annoying. I cringe every time I see his icon posting. Passive aggressive trolling, yuck.
  3. I have the aluminum version with various heads. I am not familiar with the Mefoto backpacker.
  4. Ah, I meant the carabiner. I use a loaded camera backpack and never had an issue.
  5. The Sirui is very accommodating. A great match for Fuji. Hang your backpack/camera bag from the hook to help stabilize.
  6. The wet clean is about as simple and easy as maintenance gets. 2 swipes and done. A $15 'kit' will last a decade or more.
  7. Yes, those gels priced a bit high. I would go with Fuji's suggested method of a wet clean. Rocket blowers are great, too.
  8. It has been mysteriously fixed!
  9. It seems the review by Jonas is incorrect in stating the close focus distance of the 35mm 1.4. It is 28cm, not 80.
  10. I thought this lens was announced last February?
  11. That is funny you have more gear than photos!
  12. I have not experienced anything like that. Hopefully just some bad film. The shop should take care of it.
  13. I have some good experiences with them. They provide their own U.S. warranty if a company won't cover a problem. Sometimes their shipper DHL will send you a customs bill after the fact, but DigitalRev will refund the same amount back on your card if you let them know, then you can forward the amount to customs. Really good pricing on a lot of the Fuji stuff.
  14. I sold almost all of my Nikon stuff about 6 months ago and switched to the X-T1, which is the same image quality as the X-T10. I'm a full time photographer/videographer and the Fuji has been great (I don't use it for video). The evf and manual controls were the main reason I wanted to switch. The smaller size has been a bonus I hadn't previously valued. Now everyone with a bulky Canon or Nikon looks sort of foolish to me. Focus is a little slower for moving objects in continuous modes, but my "hit rate" is higher. I mostly use single point focus and it has proven more accurate than my Nikons. Image quality is great with every Fuji lenses I have. I'm not having to add any sharpness in software like I was with my Nikon stuff.
