Honestly, I don't find the Q-button placement wrong - perhaps it's the size of my hands.

And stop all "we need ibis or fujifilm will die" trolls.
They probably dont even own a Fujifilm, just trying to scare Custumers to buy a touch & go cam( need no skills cam) (sony).

OleDK got a reaction from PoulWerner in A rant about rants
I have been to these forums before, but I have been away for quite some time now. Not because I don't have Fuji cameras and not because I don't appreciate the amount of knowledge gathered here. But because I was tired of the tone in discussions and of the rants.
I am back now. But it seems as if everything is unchanged.
People rant about alleged design errors. People rant about design choices. People rant about things that turn out to be misunderstandings on their part. People rant about things that are ignorance about or misunderstandings of fundamental photographic technique. People rant about production errors in their cameras. People rant about production errors in other peoples' cameras, despite not having bought their own camera yet. People rant about production backlog and delivery times.
What kind of forum do you people really want? Please, everyone, stop ranting.

It's probably because this forum is very much focused on (missing) camera features, being associated with a rumor site.
There are other forums where the mood is a lot lighter, and where there are also more photos shown (TBH I mainly display them elsewhere too).
I think for this forum to be less "ranting", it should break the association with said rumor site, and maybe become moderated in a different way.

OleDK reacted to batian in X100F aperture
Sorry, I don't get the point and give up... the autofocus works exceptionally well in Aperture Priority and is lightning fast in addition, at least with my copy of the X100F... doesn't matter if it's the first or the fifth picture. I don't recognize any significant delay at all... And I don't understand the point you mentioned with the "full auto mode". I thought we are talking about Aperture Priority...

OleDK got a reaction from batian in FUJIFILM X-100F REVIEWS HERE!
A very fine report on your thoughts - and very much in line with my own, although I never had the original x100 but bought the x100s as my first Fujifilm camera.

Mine does. I just made a similar video before seeing you already had one. I've narrowed it down (for anyone else looking to check) to when you're in AF-S mode, and Aperture Priority mode (Aperture set, Shutter speed to auto). It's really annoying *especially* because it makes the EVF and LCD flicker as it reverts. Hopefully this is a firmware bug, and can be fixed, because I can't see how it's proper behavior, as it snaps back open in all other modes.
