  1. Maybe I'm missing something but the way i use my L39 lens is with a leica L39 to L mount adapter. It then mounts up just fine in a megabones non speed booster L mount to fx adapter.
  2. SO I did a bit more exploring on this topic and found a way to download images after using the romote without having to back out and re pair the phone and camera. The initial interface of the phone app is very miss leading because it has four choices: remote, browse, receive, and geotagging. This made me think I needed to return to this control panel to change from the remote to browsing or receiving photos. This is not the case and when you are in the remote function selecting the Green play back button will let you browse all the photos on the camera and select any to down load to your phone.
  3. I have the Fuji app installed on my phone and it does work but to switch from the remote control function to the browse camera function so i can select and download the most recent photo i have to back out and then re pair the devise. that requires touching the camera and can mess up the framing on a touchy tri pod. I just wanted to know if it works this way on the most current version of Android or if it's a glitch because I'm on an old version.
  4. A couple of days ago I had the chance to set up my makeshift studio and take some pictures of some of my sculptures. I decided to try using my Android phone as a remote, which once paired worked great because it let me stand away from the camera with a piece if foam core and bounce some fill light where needed and be able to get a real time view of what the camera was seeing, and then take the shot. I was grinning from ear to ear about how cool this all was until I tried to down load the picture to my phone without touching the camera and messing up my set up, no can do. I had to back put of the remote function and then re pair with the camera in the browse camera function. Which meant pushing the menu button and scrolling on the camera. I really needed to do this without touching my camera but couldn't. So here is my question. My phone is an older Samsung running ice cream sandwich is this just the way the phone remote works or will I be able to do what I want if I upgrade my phone to kit kat?
