I'm enjoying all these creative portraits! Certainly puts to rest, at least from my viewpoint, that the Fuji sensor isn't a good choice for portraits due to creating a "plastic skin look" or other comments on how faces look. Don't have my X-T10 yet but looking forward to it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. FX Admin, I joined the FX Forum on my iPad, thus using Tapatalk app. I tried to sign into the forum on my MacBook today w/ no luck. Kept getting the message my user name and password already in use. It is and its me! Should I register under a different name, get a new email addy just for use on my MacBook? Sorry for posting on this thread but didn't find a better way to communicate. ~Carol Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. FSP, thanks for posting this one. I can't tell if you bounced it, but my guess is you did. It froze the action nicely. Just the right amount of light. Do you also have the X-T10 and if so do you ever use the little built in flash for fill? (Just looked up the i40 and would be nice addition for many situations I'm in., 'tho have yet to purchase my Fuji.) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. Thanks! I like to bounce flash when needed or appropriate. Use minimal outside in shade for people, just enough to light their eyes (external flash almost always.) With fast primes perhaps I can avoid this. I'm going to start w/ just the 18-55 kit zoom. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

And shots exactly like this are what I hope to achieve someday! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Did you use the pop up flash? Bounce it or straight on? About to order same camera myself. Will be my first Fuji:) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. I'd love to see more examples like this. Thinking of getting into Fuji X., knowing I can easily adapt for landscape, architecture and street but mixed feelings about candid or posed portraits indoors. Particularly candid when subject is moving. Nice shot! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
