  1. First i've ever heard of it. I used a prototype 2X teleconverter with the 100-400 before the camera was even able to recognize that there was a teleconverter attached almost two years ago. It functioned properly then.
  2. You are trying to make it easy on yourself by parceling this deal. Do the opposite and make it easy on the customer to purchase what they want to purchase. Break it up!
  3. Or look at it at 33% considering that is what it will look like in print!
  4. That eyecup will cover half of the rear LCD! Wouldn't it also permanently cover the eye sensor? The gent above is telling you to change the brightness of the EVF, not to set anything else differently. You can still view your photos with zero processing in the EVF.
  5. His tune will change when there is sufficient stock of the camera. Until then he will harp that another camera (that is well stocked) is the best choice and everyone should buy it through his links to reputable dealers, from which he will get a small percentage.
  6. You had it in wide tracking mode Pompo. Turn it to single point and they will become available.
  7. Big focus square = speed of focus but less precision Small focus square = precision but slower focusing
  8. Totally normal. And the rattle is the focusing group moving when the linear focusing motors are powered down. Enjoy your lens!
  9. i've just read a few things about someone else's X-T1 freezing up with the use of a new Lexar 2000X card. Not the case here is it?
  10. I'm not knocking your decision milandro. Instead i've answered the OP's question, "I wonder if the 50-140 is worth the price if I want to use this for portrait and playing kids?"
  11. I'd keep the X100T. The Xpro2 is a fantastic camera, one of the best i've ever used. But the form factor, size and as mentioned discreteness sets it apart from it's larger sibling.
  12. Without a doubt the 50-140 is a much better choice for shooting kids. I own both lenses and two children, 7 and 2. The 50-140 wins hands down.
  13. Press the Menu/OK button for a few seconds. Your controls, including the drive button will unlock. It's a feature of many, if not all Fujifilm cameras.
  14. My friend had the same issue with his X100s. Sorry to say but it had to be sent in for service. Best of luck with this!
  15. "– Autofocus is just a hair too slow for street photography." Most would agree that could be considered a general statement about shooting on the street with any camera, hence why most shoot manually and zone focus. Plus, the guy is not much of a in-depth reviewer, in all honesty.
  16. Unsure what kind of AF motor is in the XF16mm but it is certainly no slouch in the AF department as it ranks up there with the fastest lenses Fujifilm makes including the 16-55mm, and 90mm.
  17. Try turning the focus mode switch on the bottom left of the front of the camera to S instead of C.
  18. Remember that the APD version of the 56mm looses PDAF focus and instead relies on contrast detect only, hence your issues. The 90mm is insanely fast compared to the other primes you've mentioned. It sets the bar very high compared to even the 50-140. the 16-55 f2.8 is also very fast to focus.
  19. I've never heard of any indication that the APD version is sharper than the standard version? Could you point out where this info is coming from? My standard version is very sharp wide open. Stopping down the aperture sharpens things up only slightly. To the OP....when you sharpened in lightroom did you have the 'detail' slider at or near 100%? Try Amount 35%, Radius of 1.5-2, and detail to 100%. Your images shot with the 56mm should mirror what you see with this Canon 1.8 you are shooting with.
  20. The X-T10 is more than capable of shooting a wedding. Have fun!
  21. Nevermind. I saw your post in another thread. Saltwater it was. If the camera is not destroyed already it probably will be soon due to corrosion.
