Bobitybob got a reaction from Phiggys in Am I the only one who likes the XC 16-50?
I like mine.
Brought it for my X-E1 originally, but still use it on my X-T1. I use it in preferance to my 18-55 for landscapes where its slightly smaller aperture is less important and its light weight is an advantage. Image quality seems very acceptable to me.

This is a view of Regnitz by night. The river flows through Bamberg, a city of Bayernland. Jpg slightly adjusted in the camera.

I've only had mine for a short while, but on my X-E1 makes a great little package to carry around for street, dog walks etc.

Bob,
Nice pic and my sentiments exactly. Here's a sample of my first day trying this lens on my X-T1.

Fog in Allgäu, Germany
We have a lot of rain and fog here right now. You could stay in front of a large mountain and don't see anything.

Bobitybob got a reaction from dv. in Samyang 12mm F2.0 NCS CS X Mount
Don't think anyone has answered this
If you use a Mac and want to edit the Exif before import try Exif Editor from the App Store. If you want free and to use directly in LR the look for LensTagger which is a LR plugin (Mac & Windows). Both are graphical front ends for the command line ExifTool. You'll need to configure presets for your lenses. Oh, and make and Exif additions prior to keywording etc they as wipe these out
Hope that's helpful.

Bobitybob reacted to adzman808 in Sometimes it's the moment, not the technique
Yeah I know, it's too dark, any camera could of made it, it's basically a silhouette - I "need" to get it into a workflow, lift the shadows, dampen the highlights, clone out the toy, crop away the curtain - yada yada etcetera etcetera
But the thing with the X-Pro1, is it can make a SOOC jpeg that so captures what you saw, there suddenly isn't any reason to try and change life!!!
Agree/disagree hate it/love it
Eff it.
It's life, it's the intimate mood of family life and more and more I find the X-Pro1 is my go to camera for attempting to capture it
That OVF connects me to what I'm seeing.
Professionals and amateurs alike produce beautiful and wonderful portraits with X series cameras, and it's always worth pushing the envelope, but I personally love the fact that our cameras are just as happy to be picked up, set, and fired.
