Now you are at the "WB SHIFT" screen: you have two axis, more yellow or more blue, and more green or more red.

Mine is set to R=1 and B=-1.

Coming back to share one of the photos taken in France with the 55-200 mm lens. We happened to be staying in a hotel room with a view over the rooftops toward Sacre Coeur. (I did not bring a tripod on this trip as we were walking most of the time so I was photographing this basilica from my hotel room, some handheld shots and some with the camera secured to the railing with a gorillapod.)

"Seems like the WB is slighly different on 1st and 2nd. Is this because I had the WB on AUTO and it selected slightly warmer tone for some reason on the second shot?"

Yes, exactly! WB on Auto changes at its will, depending on the framed scene. If you don't want this to happen, you have to fix the WB value. This is also recommended for timelapses, for example.

    Hello,

This is the first shot with my x-t2, a really nice addition to my x-pro 2 ... for me as landscape photographer the tilt screen is quite a good functionnality the bigger evf too.

The lens used was the fujinon 16 1.4 @f5.6.

    Have a nice day everybody.

Not that milandro's answer isn't right but here's a shorter answer.

I usually shoot aperture priority with this lens. So I let the camera choose shutterspeed and iso and personally control aperture and focus. around f/5.6 - f/8.0 for max sharpness and towards f/2.0 for light gathering. The viewfinder remains the same as the exposure, so it stays bright and only gets dark if there isn't enough light.

... Ken Rockwell is the Chuck Norris of photography
Ken Rockwell's camera has similar settings to ours, except his are: P[erfect] Av[Awesome Priority Tv[Totally Awesome Priority] M[ajestic]
Ken Rockwell doesn't color correct. He adjusts your world to match his.
Sure, Ken Rockwell deletes a bad photo or two. Other people call these Pulitzers.
Ken Rockwell doesn't adjust his DOF, he changes space-time.
Circle of confusion? You might be confused. Ken Rockwell never is.
Ken Rockwell doesn't wait for the light when he shoots a landscape - the light waits for him.
Ken Rockwell never flips his camera in portrait position, he flips the earth
Ken Rockwell ordered an L-lens from Nikon, and got one.
Ken Rockwell is the only person to have photographed Jesus; unfortunately he ran out of film and had to use a piece of cloth instead.
When Ken Rockwell brackets a shot, the three versions of the photo win first place in three different categories
Before Nikon or Canon releases a camera they go to Ken and they ask him to test them, the best cameras get a Nikon sticker and the less good get a Canon sticker
Once Ken tested a camera, he said I cant even put Canon on this one, thats how Pentax was born
Rockwellian policy isn't doublethink - Ken doesn't even need to think once
Ken Rockwell doesn't use flash ever since the Nagasaki incident.
Only Ken Rockwell can take pictures of Ken Rockwell; everyone else would just get their film overexposed by the light of his genius
Ken Rockwell wanted something to distract the lesser photographers, and lo, there were ducks.

Ken Rockwell's nudes were fully clothed at the time of exposure
Ken Rockwell once designed a zoom lens. You know it as the Hubble SpaceTelescope.
When Ken unpacks his CF card, it already has masterpieces on it.
Rockwell portraits are so lifelike, they have to pay taxes
On Ken Rockwell's desktop, the Trash Icon is really a link to National Geographic Magazine
    Ken Rockwell spells point-and-shoot "h-a-s-s-e-l-b-l-a-d"
When Ken Rockwell went digital, National Geographic nearly went out of business because he was no longer phyically discarding photos
For every 10 shots that Ken Rockwell takes, 11 are keepers.
Ken Rockwell's digital files consist of 0's, 1's AND 2's.
Ken Rockwell never focus, everything moves into his DoF
Ken Rockwell's shots are so perfect, Adobe redesigned photoshop for him: all it consists of is a close button.
The term tripod was coined after his silhouette
Ken Rockwell never produces awful work, only work too advanced for the viewer
A certain braind of hig-end cameras was named after people noticed the quality was a lot "like a" rockwell

I sold my Canon 6D kit to get the Fujifilm X-T2 camera and a few lenses.  I was so worried that moving from full frame to cropped sensor might be something that I would regret.  Most of the reviews that I read seemed to be written by die-hard fans and seemed to be unrealistic.  I have been blown away by the sharpness and accurate colors of the X-T2!  I have some pure, unretouched photos that should show the quality of this fine camera.

I asked my wife the other day "did I tell you how much I love this camera"?  And she said; "several times"  That should give you an idea of how I feel about my conversion.

Why did I even think about changing systems?  A few weeks ago, I was taking some pictures at my brother-in-law's wedding.  That is when I noticed how heavy the Canon 6D and 24-105mm L lens was.  I looked around and took a chance on Fuji and I will never go back.

Anyway, here is the link if you want to see some nice photos of the California and Oregon coast:

JRphoto reacted to Jürgen Heger in Shutter speed 1/180 is not there on XT2
May be an explanation helps to understand why 1/180 is not needed.

Typically shutter speed steps are in a way that the time when the shutter is open is cut in half with every step. So typical steps are 1/60, 1/125, 1/250, 1/500 and so on. You may have noticed that the 1/120 is rounded to 1/125 same as 1/16 becomes 1/15.

You see that 1/180 is not part if the standard steps. But you have it on the T1 as there it is the shortest shutter speed where the shutter is completely open. In fact the shutter consist of two curtains. Curtain 1 is fixed on one side of the sensor window. It is closed before you press the shutter button. So no light will reach the sensor. Curtain 2 is fixed on the other side and is open.

When you press the shutter button curtain 1 will open, thus letting light to the sensor. After the selected shutter time curtain 2 will close. If a very short shutter time was selected curtain 2 will start closing before curtain 1 has fully opened. In this case the window is never completely open. This way you can provide very short exposure times with relatively slow moving curtains. But in this case when you are using a flash which typically has a very short duration it can never illuminate the complete sensor.

So the highest speed where the window is completely open is the fasted shutter that you can use with a flash besides with those modern flashes that provide High Speed Shutter (HSS) function.

Obviously the curtains of the T1 are not fast enough for 1/250s so the 1/180s was introduced between the standard steps as the fasted speed for flash synchronization. The T2 has faster moving curtains and therefore can provide 1/250s as flash sync speed.

You're really more skilled than I am, that time without the smallest bit of irony, I have to apologize; not tried your method yet, but I surely will (as I wrote, I want to keep my X-T1).

Btw, why did Fujifilm introduce an alternate way of doing that with the X-T2 ?
