  1. On my 100S V2.01 firmware this is no problem it shows 24/am-pm above and I can choose which I prefer. For me it is always military time, I make far less mistakes that way. By the way, the AM/PM does not show until I have cursored through the date and time to be on the 24H, then you can just simply choose AM/PM and accept. Screen shot shows that on mine that works after the firmware update.
  2. Did Fujifilm get the GF 30mm so right in 2020 (when I think it was first available) , that no update is yet required? My example bought today in 2023 is V1.0 and the lens does not even get a mention on the firmware list of updates. Just wondering out of curiosity that's all.
  3. Same happened with mine re time/date etc but the rest of my settings seem to have remaineth the same. That would really be annoying to have to wade through all the settings after every update. Hence I can understand the reticence of 'jlmphotos' to do the update.
  4. Great Info Don something to save and try soon thank you.
  5. Thanks, no sooner than I made the post, everything seemed to be OK after taking some images and formatting the card. So hopefully that's it. The 100S is a really great camera coupled with the two lenses I have 50/80.
  6. I am sure by now you have worked it out. The same shutter button is used for video.
  7. My new 100S is now very slow to start up 6-8 seconds before the rear LCD screen is available after switching on the camera. Am I alone with this issue? This is intermittent i.e. not every time does it misbehave.
  8. Apart from wait none I am afraid to say. I had the same with the GFX 50 files to begin with. However, 'DxO Photolab 6' handles them perfectly. Also when you upload a file taken with a lens not yet in its database it will auto suggest you download the corresponding file. I have two Fuji cameras and 5 lenses all of them now recognised by this software which I am very happy with.

  10. Does anyone know with certainty whether a Godox TT350 for Nikon i.e. TT350(N) will harm a Fujifilm camera when fired from the camera. I just tried and it fired in manual mode with no issue that I can see. I have ordered a Godox X-Pro(F) which of course will allow off camera and work with no worries at all.
  11. I see conflicting statements on various websites, it is either out of stock, discontinued or not known when stock will be available. I have the EF-X8 which works as a small fill light on the X-H2S perfectly. I wanted to use it on the GFX100S as well but alas it is not compatible, but the EF-X20 is! If anyone has one they want to get rid of please let me know!
  12. AH Ok then to install it must be on and then afterwords one can turn it off, until you want to use it again? If it's like that I can put up with it. Good to know thank you.
  13. Well in my brief test of the app, I did think that was a good feature. I did get a backup of settings done.
  14. I don't like the fact that the app forces one to set Location on always on the phone otherwise it doesn't install. I always have location turned off. So I deleted the new app soon after first install, because of that.
  15. Coming back to Fujifilm with these triple 30/50/80. Great lenses. This 'flying machine' with the 50mm lens.
  16. No zoom for me. If I do get a 3rd lens it will be the 30mm. The 50mm is terrific and the 80mm wonderful.
  17. That is an interesting question I hope you get a resolution I would like to see that.
  18. That makes total sense to me.
  19. Agreed X-Pro uniqueness is for the viewfinder. One case where a viewfinder is absent is the Hasselblad 907X, step out in bright light or sunlight and trying to use the LCD is a pain. The accessory viewfinder is a pain also. A viewfinder is a necessity which I for one cannot do without.
  20. For the time being I am using an X-H2S with: 33/56/50-140+1.4, have also been wondering about a 16mm, so on travel I may be happy enough with 16/33 and 56 - unless going motor-sport or into the mountains when the zoom would be taken also.
  21. Stork on the hunt to feed its several chicks, about 6 miles away from the three nests that we know of. 50-140 +1.4 at 140 on a X-H2S
  22. Taken with 50-140 +1.4 at 140 on a X-H2S. Photo bombed by a speedy sparrow!
  23. For me, my choice is: 1) 16mm 2) 33mm 3) 56mm 4) 50-140 + converter 1.4
  24. I am with you on that Medium Format GFX Monochrome camera, traditional dials, 50 or 100MP - oh my what a dream camera, slightly less boxy and smaller body than 50r - I would be VERY happy.
