  1. In 20+ years of using Canon bodies and lenses I've never owned or sold one that didn't look pristine. Fuji, not so much. I already see small places where the paint has chipped off my 6 month old 16-55. I believe these are the result of the slightest contact with a plastic zipper as it is inserted and removed from my camera bag. Whether or not one considers this a big deal, it *shouldn't* happen. Clearly processes exist to apply a durable finish to bodies and lenses. Fuji should be using them.
  2. I'm surprised by how many people have answered "no" to this thread. It would be interesting to know how many of these folks actually own an X-P2 or X-T2 and a large format printer. I would suspect the answer to that would also be "no" in most cases. The original question is better phrased as *at what print size* does 24mp start to offer improved print quality. Clearly, at some combination of print size and viewing distance a resolution of "x" megapixels will start to break up where "x" times 150% will not. The answer will vary depending on subject matter, printing substrate, preferred viewing distance, the capacity of one's own eyesight, and one's ability to properly prepare an image for printing.
  3. So many reasons the X-T2 works better for me. #1 Multi-angle tilt screen. Lack of tilt screen has become a deal killer since I started using a body with one. #2 EVF #3 Faster operation & superior performance in action-oriented settings #4 Better control layout for my uses. #5 Video #6 Useful accessories...the metal grip, vertical grip #7 Better match for their high-end zooms
  4. This is a good and rational question, Vexy, but I'm sadly not surprised by the "buy a Sony" and "why don't you just add a SIM card" responses. Aside from added cost, I'm not sure there *is* a good reason so you're left to hear from the I-can't-see-a-use-for-it-so-nobody-should-have-it crowd.
