I've seen people shoot sharp image with 1 sec shutter using a camera with good OIS and IBIS....so it's not impossible.
I don't have super stable hands, but not shaky either so I never feel I need IS for still image, but for video they work very well.
Go for X-T5, it has everything you need, IBIS, small body, AI focusing and 40MP, with all the available film simulations.
I was thinking about moving to FF or Medium Format (from X-T3), but I am happily staying with my X-T5 for foreseeable future.
A lot of these type of feedback was due to the Auto Focus Priority setting was set to Release instead of Focus.
That is the first settings I changed whenever I got a new Fujifilm camera.
It is a great lens, I can't recommended it enough. But why Laowa 65 for portrait? It meant to be a specialised macro lens.
I suggest you look into Viltrox 75mm f1.2 for portrait or long distant street photo.
If you only need to see your live view on a bigger monitor, simply plug the HDMI into your monitor.
If you need to do tether shooting - import your photo to computer after each shot and have it displayed for review, you need a USB-C to USB (C or 3) tethering cable from Tether Pro.
You will need to install a free software called Fuji X Acquire if you are Photoshop or Lightroom user.
No additional software is required if you are a Capture One Pro user.
Has anyone had experience using Fujifilm X Acquire for tether shooting?
It is so unstable, sometime it worked but most of the time, it disconnected automatically and cannot detect camera.
I'd like to know if it's my equipment (cable..etc) or this software is as problematic as Fuji's remote app....
Hi, I am a long time DPReview Fujifilm X forum user, basically visit there everyday and started many threads about lens sharpness test and comparison.
Owned many generations of Fuji cameras since X-T2 (came from Sony A7R3), and I am so happy with what Fujifilm brought us over the years, the improved primes, 40mp X-T5 are just dream came true! Also looking at buying X-Pro4 when released.
Hopefully I can find my second home here
